This group is about changing that. We meet for relaxed chats, a laugh, and genuine conversation about the things that actually matter to us in life, such as well-being, growth, health, creativity, work, travel, relationships, or whatever someone throws on the table. Ever want to try ceramics or build on your skills? Then this would be the perfect opportunity. The main technique used during the session is hand-building giving you the option to make so many different things for yourself, friends or family - bowls, plates, sushi dishes, plants pots and much more. Beginners will be guided through the process of making things using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, texturing, under-glazing and glazing. The more advanced will be free to create and those with experience throwing would be welcome to use my wheel (to be reserved in advance). Those of you who would like to learn about glazing would need to book 2 workshops. The workshops are run in English but I do speak Catalan and Spanish. They also provide a great opportunity for non-native speakers to chat and learn. They last 2.5 hours and basic materials are provided. Buenas! (English below) Cada día aparecen formas nuevas de aprender español, (y otros idiomas) apps nuevas, métodos de gramática, IA, videos de profes explicando cosas, y están todas genial. Si te ayudan a entender más y a hablar mejor están genial. El plan de este grupo es mejorar tu español con juegos, actividades reales y ejercicios para hablar más. Con la excusa de los juegos y las actividades corregimos la mayoría de errores: Palabras difíciles, confundir pasados, preposiciones, verbos que significan muchas cosas, ser y estar en pasado, frases con dos verbos o mas, subjuntivo, expresiones coloquiales, y también los errores "culturales”: ¿De que forma usamos los españoles el idioma en diferentes situaciones? La gente que participa es (casi siempre) muy simpática, y normalmente deja reviews muy positivas de las clases. Si te cuadra el plan ven a practicar tu español y hablamos de comida, de viajes, de trabajo, de cultura, de Internet, de temas locales, de noticias y de muchas más cosas. Para participar hay una contribución de solo 10€ por persona/ clase de 2 horas o de 30€ por 4 clases. If they help you to understand more and to speak better, they are great. The main plan in this group is to improve your Spanish with games, real activities and exercises to speak more. All the games and activities are a good excuse to correct the most difficult/ frequent mistakes: Difficult words, confusing past tenses, prepositions, verbs that mean many things, ser and estar in the past, sentences with two or more verbs, subjuntive, colloquial expressions, and also “cultural" mistakes: How we, Spanish people, use the language in different situations? People participating are (almost always) very nice, and usually leave very positive reviews of the classes.
