South London Playtesting at The Ludoquist, Croydon
We are a welcoming community of board game designers and playtesters, please join us and bring your games in development for feedback, to play upcoming games, or just to chat about the hobby and industry! We range from first-time designers, hobby designers, published designers, and publishing companies.
We meet **every Tuesday** at The Ludoquist board game cafe in Croydon, from 6:30pm-10pm. We try to ensure that as many games can be played in an evening, and prioritise those that haven't been able to test their games recently, although we cannot guarantee that your game will be played in the first session you join.
The **final meeting of each month is reserved for playing published games**. We use this time to catch up on games that we want to try or discuss.
You can also join our Facebook Group community for feedback and discussion: https://www.facebook.com/groups/playtestuksouthlondon
We look forward to seeing you!

Clapham London Indies Pub Night
Okay! The Clapham monthly meetup is back to it's usual time and place. We now have TWO evening meetups each month in different areas of London.
The monthly indie pub night is relaxing social with other indie game devs in London. Chat about all things game/tech related, make new friends and test out some demos from community members. Look out for the group with laptops and tablets out.
Venue: https://www.fourthieves.pub/
London daytime testing at Waterloo
We playtest all sorts of games - strategic, silly, creative, or whatever. Some games are almost done. Some are very early ideas. We test anything that will fit into 90 minutes.
You don't need to bring a game - we always love to have new playtesters!
Please let us know in the comments when you plan to arrive/leave and whether you are bringing a game or not. This helps us to plan the day better.
The schedule is:
10am onwards - gathering, chatting
11am sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 1')
12:30ish - break for food/chat
1pm sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 2')
2:30ish - break for food/chat
3pm sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 3')
4:30ish - finish up
Often, we might hang around afterwards, to play some already-published games.
We are strict on timings, so please try to arrive a few minutes before the session to limit disruption.
You can just come for part of the day if you wish. The reason we have fixed timings for the 3 'slots' is to make it easier for folk to do so.
Designers of all levels of experience are welcome! But if it's your first time, we ask that you don't bring a game and just spend some time learning how the group works.
The group works based on reciprocation. If you expect to test your own game, make sure stay for long enough to play other games. As a general rule of thumb, you can expect to play one of your own games every third 90-minute session. So if you stay a whole day (3 sessions), you can expect to have one session to play your game(s). A good rule of thumb is that if you come all day, you will have one 90 minute session with two other playtesters in which to test your own games. It is sometimes possible to test games with more players. If your game requires 4 or more, please note that as standard you will be allocated half of a session (45 minutes).
Pre-covid, we were getting unmanageable. As a result, we may have to limit attendees. This is a free-to-use venue, and we have to be mindful that other folk want to use the same space.
Please note: This is an adults only event.
We look forward to seeing you!

Vancouver Serious Relationship Search for Professionals
**💘 Real Speed Dating Online for Vancouver Locals from Home**
Joining means you'll take part in short one-on-one Zoom rounds with Vancouver locals selected for your age range by quiz results, while the host handles all the logistics.
Ahead of joining, you answer a few quick personality questions — those results are used to organise compatible Vancouver locals for your session, so you are not just talking to strangers but to matched locals.
After the session closes, contact details for mutual matches are shared — keeping your selections private otherwise — and you follow up whenever it suits you.
**Age-grouped registration — select yours:**
- **Ages 18-32** → [REGISTER HERE](https://tempodating.com/product?productId=537.0&productType=onlineSpeedDating&city=Vancouver&groupurlname=sparking-lasting-ties-through-outdoor-socials&ar=18-32&face_v=6.0)
- **Ages 30-46** → [REGISTER HERE](https://tempodating.com/product?productId=537.0&productType=onlineSpeedDating&city=Vancouver&groupurlname=sparking-lasting-ties-through-outdoor-socials&ar=30-46&face_v=6.0)
- **Ages 40-58** → [REGISTER HERE](https://tempodating.com/product?productId=537.0&productType=onlineSpeedDating&city=Vancouver&groupurlname=sparking-lasting-ties-through-outdoor-socials&ar=40-58&face_v=6.0)
- **Ages 55+** → [REGISTER HERE](https://tempodating.com/product?productId=537.0&productType=onlineSpeedDating&city=Vancouver&groupurlname=sparking-lasting-ties-through-outdoor-socials&ar=55+&face_v=6.0)
**⚠️ Quick note:** This page rsvp is not sufficient to hold your seat, so follow the age group link above, register, and complete the personality quiz to lock in your spot — spots are kept small by design so register promptly, and RSVP plus full registration is what holds your seat.
---
**Quick Details**
- **Format:** Private on a dedicated Zoom session built around curated one-on-one dates, sorted to your age group and personality profile in advance.
- **Where:** Fully remote — on phone or laptop — your choice, just a camera microphone and decent Wi-Fi, and your home a quiet office or anywhere suits equally well.
- **Host:** A professional host keeps everything on track and stress-free throughout, which takes all pressure off the format entirely — the host owns the evening so you can simply enjoy it.
- **Vibe:** Low-pressure individual rounds with Vancouver locals who value a real first impression, and first-timers always leave surprised by how natural it felt.
- **Duration:** About 60 to 90 minutes all in, and the evening has a natural momentum.
**Made for:**
- Those near Vancouver moving on from shallow connections that never lead anywhere and are after something more than a swipe can offer.
- Singles living in Vancouver done with conversations that fizzle before a first date and are ready for a genuine first impression.
- Someone locally in Vancouver ready to move past dating apps that go nowhere and are after something more than a swipe can offer.
**How it works**
1. **Find your age group** – by using the link for your bracket above, then take the brief quiz, since that is what confirms your place.
2. **Hop on** – at the scheduled time using your Zoom link, any device with a camera and mic is all you need, and everything runs on the host's schedule from that point.
3. **Get into the rounds** – short Zoom speed dating rounds with age-matched Vancouver locals paired by quiz, with everything paced by a host so nothing drags, as every round is with someone selected for you by the quiz.
4. **See your mutual connections** – after the event you will receive any mutual match details, and everything non-mutual stays confidential between you and us, and the next move is completely yours to make.
---
✨ Done with digital connections that lead nowhere — grab your place above before it goes and everything else is sorted whenever you are set. Your matches are waiting to be found. ❤️🔥 ✨
