**We have limited space at the cafĂŠ, so if you've RSVPd and can't make it, please cancel as early as possible so another person can join!** Join in for a morning of crafting & chatting over a drink. Just bring your own project and payment for drinks. Meet fellow crafting enthusiasts, whether it's knitting, crocheting, stitching, origami, or something more unique! We talk about our projects, exchange tipps, but also just get to know each other and enjoy a relaxed Sunday morning in good company. We now also have a WhatsApp group, where we want to organise get-togethers and other events. Ask one of the organisers at the next Meetup you join for more information and access.
The story we tell ourselves: Self-Image vs Self-Esteem
The story we tell ourselves: Self-Image vs Self-Esteem
Have you ever noticed how the way you see yourself can change depending on the situation? One moment you feel confident and capable — the next you start doubting yourself after a small mistake or comparison. How do you see yourself on LinkedIn or social media — is it that persona or the quiet inner picture you carry, about who you are? Sometimes that picture feels strong and confident. Other times it becomes surprisingly fragile after criticism, comparison, or a simple mistake. In this meetup we’ll explore two closely related ideas that shape how we experience life: **Self-image** — the picture we hold of who we are **Self-esteem** — how we feel about that picture Through conversation and simple reflection exercises, we’ll look at questions like: * Where does our self-image actually come from? * Why can our confidence rise and fall so quickly? * What role do comparison, expectations, and inner criticism play? * And how can we build a healthier relationship with ourselves? Expect an open and thoughtful discussion — not a lecture. You’re welcome to share your thoughts and experiences, but there’s never any pressure. Listening is just as valuable. If you're curious about how our inner narratives shape our lives, come join the conversation. **Who is this for?** Anyone interested in personal growth, psychology, and understanding how our inner narratives influence our lives. **What to expect** * Guided discussion prompts * Reflection exercises * Practical insights you can apply in everyday life **Tone** Supportive, curious, and judgment-free. **Disclaimer** This is not therapy — It's a thoughtful conversation about being human.

Coffee Social: Make New Friends
⚠️ **IMPORTANT: You must sign up and buy a ticket here to attend:** [https://groupvibe.com/](https://groupvibe.com/) **Join the Amsterdam** **Coffee Club and make new friends!** Each meetup brings together 4–6 people for casual conversations over coffee. We use the Groupvibe platform to facilitate the meetup and ensure everyone’s a good fit. 👉 **To attend, you’ll need to complete registration via this link:** [https://groupvibe.com/](https://groupvibe.com/) We’ll share the exact location of the upcoming meetup the night before only if you have bought a ticket or membership plan. **Why this works:** \* Smaller groups make real conversations easier. \* Discover new cafes in your city, together. \* Curated cafes with good coffee and vibe. \* If you hit it off with your group, there’s plenty of time to hang out afterwards. **Note:** RSVPs on Meetup don’t reflect total attendance. Many attendees register directly via our website. The event on [Meetup.com](http://meetup.com/) is only a placeholder. This meetup is organized by Groupvibe, a small team passionate about helping people form meaningful friendships offline.

Cycling along the Dutch Waterline!
You’re invited to join us for a cycling trip from Utrecht to Amsterdam, following the historic [Dutch Waterline](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_Waterline). As we cycle through green polders and along quiet waterways, you’ll discover how the Dutch once used water as a powerful defense system, by flooding the land in order to stop enemies from invading Holland and taking all our cheese and bicycles :) We’ll pass old forts and scenic Dutch landscapes, where history and nature are coming together. Women’s Spring Picnic in Máxima Park (Utrecht) — Connect & Meet
### Let's Feast on Joy and Connection Under the Trees! 🌿 Dear sisters, are you craving connection that goes beyond the superficial? Do you long for a space where you can truly soften, open, and awaken your authentic self? Our beloved SOMA monthly circle is moving outdoors for a special gathering, and we are calling all women ready to nourish their souls as much as their bodies! In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to feel isolated, even amidst crowds. The SOMA community was born from a deep understanding that we thrive when we are seen, witnessed, and held in a supportive circle. This picnic is an invitation to step into that sacred space, where judgment dissolves, and genuine connection flourishes. ### What to Expect: This isn't just a picnic; it's an opportunity to experience the ancient feminine wisdom of gathering in circle, a practice that helps us maintain continuity and a sense of belonging without the pressure to perform. Here, your emotions are your anchor, and your presence is your power. We will engage in: •Grounding Rituals: Simple practices to bring us fully into our bodies and the present moment. •Meaningful Conversation: Heart-led sharing where every voice is valued, and every story is witnessed. •The Medicine of Nature: Allowing the serene embrace of Maxima Park to soothe our spirits and deepen our connection to ourselves and each other. Come for the sisterhood, stay for the laughter, and leave feeling regulated, radiant, and deeply held. It's a space where we collectively create a coherent field, stepping into something truly transformative through body-led healing and authentic presence. ### Practical Details: •Bring: Your favorite snack to share with the circle, a blanket or cushion for comfort, and most importantly, an open heart. •Location: Maxima Park, Utrecht (Specific meeting point details will be shared with RSVPs). •Date: Sunday, 12th April 2026 •Time: 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM ### Join Our Sisterhood: Ready to deepen your connection and be a part of our growing SOMA community? DM me 'SISTER' to join our WhatsApp group and stay updated on all our gatherings and workshops. We can't wait to welcome you!
