[Inspirál](https://www.instagram.com/inspiral_wav/) invites you to a 2-hour session to step out of your routine, create space for yourself, and explore through art and movement, accompanied by a soundscape specially created for this session by [EYRA](https://www.instagram.com/per.eyra/). **You can register your place via this [link](https://luma.com/ahknh8j5). Limited spots available.** ​ No experience is needed. This is a safe, supportive space with no pressure and no judgment. Art therapist Helena Seidel guides a creative process focused on free exploration. Rather than working toward a specific result, the emphasis is on following what naturally emerges, and giving space to your own creative process. ​Jetske Bles, Master’s student in Dance Movement Therapy, guides the movement part of the session. Through both guided and free movement, you’ll explore different ways of moving, connect with your body, and follow what feels natural in the moment. The focus is on honoring the joy and the needs of your body through movement and tuning into your sensations in a safe and supportive space. ​​Come as you are and discover what unfolds when you give yourself space to create and move.

This will be a new venue for our jams and will probably be more accommodating to access for many of our DC Rockers members. The studio is located near the Mosaic District in Merrifield on the eastbound side of Lee Highway (US-29). We'll be in Studio A on the first floor of the studio which is mostly-equipped with a drum kit, keyboard, sound system, amps and mics. Attendees will be expected to bring their own instruments but should not need to bring amps or speakers.
