Welcome to our weekly physical or virtual Club Polyglotte meeting. * As usual, a minimum consumption of one drink or something small to eat is obligatory at Restaurant Quai Steffen at 13, Place de la gare at the Luxembourg railway station. * We start our get together at 19:00 h and finish at 22:00 h. Focus will be on the British Japanese artist Simon Fujiwara Exhibition that show-cases the breadth of the artist’s works across painting, film, performance, animation and storytelling. Friday evening sketching session at Villa Vauban. Every friday Villa Vauban is free between 6-9pm. To benefit from this we willl have a monthly sketch & sip session (in that order :)) using a specific room/painting in the museum. Agenda: 6pm (early arrivals) - meeting at the reception and move to a room by 6:10 7pm - for those of us that cannot leave work earlier, I will post where to find us in whatsapp. Sketching until 8 8pm - share our sketches 8-9pm sip your favorite wine, beer etc in a bar/restaurant in the city centre. **Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in!** **We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop.
