From Real-Time Intelligence to Legacy Mastery: The Era of AI Agents
**Cloud Native Night Munich**
AI agents are rapidly evolving from simple assistants into autonomous systems capable of reasoning, maintaining context, and interacting with complex environments. In this meetup, we’ll explore two practical applications of modern agentic AI in software engineering.
The first talk dives into building stateful AI agents that work with real-time data, covering the architectural patterns and challenges behind creating responsive, context-aware systems. The second talk showcases how agentic AI can be applied to understanding and analysing complex legacy applications — helping uncover program flows, dependencies, and hidden system knowledge that would otherwise take countless hours to explore manually.
Whether you’re building AI-powered applications, modernising enterprise systems, or simply curious about the future of intelligent software, this meetup offers hands-on insights into how AI agents are transforming the way we interact with technology
THIS MEETUP WILL BE HYBRID. **\|** [Zoom Link](https://qaware-de.zoom.us/s/81669104769)
\*\*\* AGENDA \*\*\*
* 6\.30 PM \| Doors open\. Grab some snacks & drinks\.
* 7\.00 PM \| Welcome & Intro – **Start of hybrid meetup**
* 7\.15 PM \| **Building Stateful AI Agents with Real-Time Data**, Gregor Bauer (VP Customer Engineering at CrateDB)
* \~8:15 PM \| **Hosty - The next level with Agentic AI,** Martin Binder (Lead IT Consultant at QAware)
* afterwards: More snacks & drinks, and a lot of time for networking with all attendees and speakers.
\*\*\* ABSTRACTS \*\*\*
**Building Stateful AI Agents with Real-Time Data**, Gregor Bauer (VP Customer Engineering at CrateDB)
Most AI demos are stateless. Real systems are not.
Modern AI applications increasingly depend on continuously changing operational data: events, metrics, logs, transactions, sensor streams, and user activity. This creates a new architectural challenge: how do we build AI agents that can reason over live data while remaining scalable and observable ?
This talk explores the architecture of stateful AI systems and agentic applications. We will cover:
* streaming-first AI architectures
* real-time context enrichment
* combining vector search with structured queries
* memory layers for AI agents
* latency and scalability considerations
* operational lessons from large-scale data platforms
The session provides practical guidance for engineers designing production-ready AI platforms.
**Hosty - The next level with Agentic AI,** Martin Binder (Lead IT Consultant at QAware)
To migrate legacy systems, you need to understand these IT dinosaurs, at least partially. So code analysis up to a certain level is unavoidable. What used to take months, sometimes years without LLMs is now doable in a few days with Gemini and friends. And yet: you still have to drive the analysis yourself, stitch the LLM's partial results into a coherent picture and fight the context window. With old source files thousands of lines long, that part really hurt.
Agentic AIs like Claude Code are not just another AI feature. They change how you approach unfamiliar systems — fast, and without the headaches that LLM chat workflows used to come with. Teaser: an analysis that took us a few days under "yay!" cheers is now done in minutes.

Kon-Tiki Comedy Tuesday
**Kon-Tiki Comedy Tuesday!**
Zurich's longest standing weekly Comedy Night : English Standup at Kon-Tiki Bar since 2018!
**Tickets :** [https://shorturl.at/fgjmM](https://shorturl.at/fgjmM)
Kon-Tiki Comedy has long become a staple of Tuesday Nights in Zurich! Veterans, regulars, amateurs & newbies from all around the world show up to make people laugh. This Comedy Open Mic is regularly Hosted by Ahmet Bilge.
Kon-Tiki Comedy is the place for English Standup in central Zurich. Come join & laugh with us!
**Early Show starts at 19:30 pm // Late Show starts at 21:30 pm**
**Frequently Asked Questions:**
\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-
**Q: Is the show in English?**
A: YES. Kon-Tiki Comedy is always in English.
**Q: What's the difference of a Comedy Open Mic from a regular Comedy Show?**
A: Anybody who wants can go on stage at a Comedy Open Mic. A bunch of Comedians will be there, but they will be trying out jokes, because this is how Comedians find out if something is funny or not, so you get to be there at the birthplace of jokes. Often Comedy Open Mics are more casual & but also funny as well!
**Q: Can I perform Comedy also?**
A: Yes of course! Just contact theamericanstandupshow@gmail.com if you're interested in performing. Or directly go to the event page on facebook & write "SPOT" inside the event discussion. You'll be confirmed later & will get 5minutes to start off with. Anybody can sign up!
**Q: What about these seats?**
A : We have enough seats for everyone but the first come first served rule applies! Especially since Kon-Tiki Comedy is popular, often it is packed inside, so come early for good seats. What's early? Anything before 19:00 & you will have your seat of choice.
**Q : What about the late show?**
Depending on the turnout a late show is also available most of the time, please check the ticket page to see if there is a late show option. Basically if you can buy tickets to the late show, it's happening, if it's not an option for a ticket it's not! Both shows might be consolidated into one if there's not enough ticket sold for the late show. In this case you will recieve an e-mail telling you so.
**Q : Can I refund my ticket?**
There are no refunds allowed because it becomes too much work for a simple Comedy Open Mic, so only buy your ticket if you know you're for sure going to be able to make it. But if for some reason you can't make it, you are welcome to use your ticket for any future Kon-Tiki Comedy Shows. Just write an e-mail to exchange.
**Q : Can I buy tickets at the door?**
No please don't. Technically we can but it complicates everything, so just buy them online. Just to persuade you NOT to ask to buy at the door: Tickets at the door are 15.-CHF. Please buy online : )
**Q: Will it be funny?**
A : You betcha. You can't do a regular show since 2018 & not be funny.
**Any other questions:**
Email: theamericanstandupshow@gmail.com with the title "Kon-Tiki Comedy"
But if it's any of the questions covered by the FAQ above, I will still answer it, *but first I will insult you.*
**Legal Disclaimer:** Comedians may film their sets as well as the audience during the comedy show. By buying a ticket you consent to being filmed in this public space. If you ever have a problem with any clip published online you are very welcome to contact us & ask to have it removed, we are happy to accomodate you. Thank you for your understanding.
Meditation in Volkshaus Zürich
**Meditationsreihe: Fokus finden – Konzentration & Achtsamkeit stärken**
Dienstags, 9. – 23.

16\. Juni 2026 \| Ablenkungen loslassen

The future of our work starts with a conversation
*«The creative and UX industry is changing fast. Roles are shifting, tools are evolving, expectations are rising, and many people are asking what their skills will be worth in the future.»*
**This evening is not a classic Last Thursday Talk.** UX Schweiz and Syndicom invite the community to **a workshop and open exchange** for people working in UX, design, research, strategy, communication and related creative fields.
The focus is especially on people at the beginning of their careers, people in transition, and everyone currently asking: **What does the future of our work actually look like?** We want to create a space for hopes, concerns, changing roles, useful skills, new tools, AI, career paths and possible forms of support within the community. Uncertainty is allowed, but we do not want to stay stuck in fear.
The evening starts with a short input by **[Pascal Geronimi](https://www.linkedin.com/in/pascal-geronimi-5112b324/).** After that, we will work in small groups: collecting thoughts, clustering topics, discussing what matters most, and sharing key insights.
Together, we want to explore:
* What currently gives us hope?
* What feels uncertain or worrying?
* How are roles, tools and expectations changing?
* Which skills and mindsets might become more important?
* What kind of support could UX Schweiz, Syndicom or the wider community offer?
**This is an experimental format.** Because this is a workshop-style event, **places are limited**. Please only register if you are quite sure you can attend. If your plans change, please cancel your RSVP so someone else can join.
**Format**
* Short intro input
* Small-group exchange
* Shared takeaways in the plenum
* Optional informal drinks afterwards nearby
**A small question before you come**
You do not need to prepare anything. But take a moment to think about this: ***When you think about the future of your work: what gives you hope, and what makes you unsure?***
**Practical information**
• The event will be held in English.
• The number of participants is limited.
• Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time.

Dear Microsoft Swiss PSUG,
We have planned another exciting event.
**Place & Language:**
Place: Isolutions AG, The Circle 38, 8058 Zürich (Hybrid with Teams)
Language: EN
**Session 1: PowerShell Notebooks in Practice: Real‑World Use Cases**
Description:
PowerShell Notebooks can significantly enhance how we build and operate tools. This session showcases practical, real‑world scenarios—including onboarding and offboarding workflows, pipeline integration, diagnostic data collection, and development against both on‑prem and cloud services. With plenty of demos, you’ll see how notebooks can improve productivity and clarity across the entire lifecycle.
Speaker: [MVP David Sass](https://www.linkedin.com/in/sassdawe/ "https://www.linkedin.com/in/sassdawe/")
**Session 2: Updating isn’t the hard part — Knowing What changed Is**
Description:
PowerShell modules evolve constantly — features change, bugs are fixed, and behavior shifts. While updating a module is easy, understanding the impact of updates is not. Outdated modules risk lost functionality, while rushed updates can introduce subtle breaking changes.
In this demo-focused session, we explore a practical approach to tracking meaningful module changes without notification overload. Using the PackageUpdateInfo module, we show how to detect and report relevant differences between versions.

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
