This PGCC Hand Dance class is taught by the "7" Step Hand Dance Academy. The "7" Step Hand Dance Academy is a non-profit organization, dedicated to teaching, preserving, and promoting the African American art form of D.C. Hand Dancing. If you have ever wanted to learn how to hand dance, come join us. Not only will have fun learning how to hand dance, but you will make new friends in the process! This is a 8-week course. The dates for the session are 6/20/2026 - 8/15/2026. * **Beginner** Class: 10am - 11:30am * **Intermediate/Advanced** Class: 11:30am - 1:00pm Remember to wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can turn or slide in, otherwise, you can bring socks to wear over your shoes.
