Let’s do some coding together at a cafe! No more working alone in the weekend. Here, we write code together. And I mean together together. Not occupying-the-same-space-but-separate together. Here’s how it works: Jennifer brings her mobile app project, tells everyone that it is like Pinterest for recipes and she’d like to work on the nav bar. Paul and Chloe think Jennifer's project is fascinating, and they join the group. They gather around Jennifer’s laptop and work on the nav bar for 2 hours. Jennifer is the one typing out the code while Paul and Chloe research, brainstorm, and offer suggestions. If you’re feeling stuck on your own project or need a motivation boost, bring it to mob programming! Want to learn by watching how others code and solve problems? Join someone else’s project at this event! Oh and we love your half-done projects that you are a bit embarrassed to share. Do you like s’mores? Maybe you’ve never had a s’mores. Either way this is the place to be for dollar s’mores. But you’ve got to roast the marshmallows over an open fire yourself which is the best part. Not mention you’ll be meeting other people in a social environment. $1 (cash only please) gets you two crackers, a piece of milk chocolate and a marshmallow on a skewer. For those of you who have never made your own or aren’t that skilled I will teach you how. And yes you can have more than one!

OTHER CAFE POLICIES 1. There is an entry fee of $6/person + tax during weekdays (MON - THU excluding holidays) and $8/person + tax on weekends and holidays. 2. As a cafe we offer coffee and other beverage options. We would greatly appreciate that you not bring outside drinks into the store. 3. We also offer pastries baked in house, light fare, and some pre-packaged snacks. We permit you to bring food options from the other businesses in the plaza (Henry's Fish & Chips, Vito's Pizza) to support our neighbouring, small businesses. 4. Be considerate of other guests when selecting games from our library and limit the number of games you bring back to each table to two (2) at a time. 5. This group is for badminton enthusiasts who are passionate about exploring the connections between metabolism, energy, and exercise. We are welcome beginner plus, intermediate and advance level players looking to improve your skill or a seasoned player seeking to optimize your performance on the court, this group is for you! The Unity of Columbus Resource Group for the Homeless is seeking compassionate volunteers who would like to help serve and uplift members of our homeless community. This group is dedicated to sharing kindness, resources, and support with individuals who may be experiencing difficult circumstances. Anyone with a heart for service is welcome to join us as we work together to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Community members are also invited to contribute by bringing helpful items for those in need.
