"English below" \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* Hoi zemme! \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* Hi everyone! Up for some Teqball after work? Right behind the ice rink at Deutweg, there’s a table that doesn't get nearly enough action. Since a few of us are at the sand pitch next door regularly anyway, we thought: let’s host an open session every two weeks for anyone who’s into the sport. The vibe is super chill: we’ll kick the ball around, have some music playing, and just enjoy the evening. Right next to us on the sand pitch, the women's beach soccer team is usually training – so there’s a great sports vibe across the whole area. **Sign-up & Weather:** Since we’re outdoors, we stay flexible. We’ll make the final call on whether to reschedule due to rain the evening before via WhatsApp ([https://chat.whatsapp.com/IsmgmNiBWOYEP1Zi68d4Cs](https://chat.whatsapp.com/IsmgmNiBWOYEP1Zi68d4Cs)). Just sign up, show up, and play a few rounds. We’re looking forward to it! **Meeting Point:** Right at the Teqball table behind the ice rink (next to the sand pitch / outdoor ice field, "Eishalle Deutweg"). **When:** Every second Thursday: *May 14th / May 28th, etc. - Starting at 7:00 PM Drop by, have a good time at the table, and meet some new people. See you there!

**Thursday Night Football is back!** Our decade-long tradition of playing Thursday night games continues at **Turnhalle Lind Nord** in Winterthur! Open to all skill levels, newcomers, as well as regular players. The cost will be CHF 10 per game or there is the option to pay for the whole year. The attendance is limited to 12 players, if the meetup list is full then please join the waitlist as we regularly have people dropping out the day of the event. **Parking** There is no parking at Lind Nord, however there is paid parking at Museumplatz 3 or Kreuzstrasse 13, both of which are about 2 min walking distance **No-shows** We ask everyone to respect others who wish to play, and that means dropping out if you know that you won't play. You are responsible for keeping your RSVP up-to-date, not the organisers. Our no-show rules: * -No-shows will pay the regular fee for that game (even if they already paid for the season) plus the fees for those that were on the waitlist (so x times the regular fee). This way, the people in the waitlist will play a future game for free, as a small consolation present. * -No-shows might loose their place to those in the waitlist the next time they sign up when there is a waitlist * -No-show cutoff time is 2 hours before event start, to give others enough time to plan in advance. So even if you cancel after 18:30, if someone could not play because of you, you are still considered a no-show **IMPORTANT:** If its your first time please also send me a message for more details. If I do not hear from you to confirm this, you might be taken off the confirmed list to make room for regulars & prevent no-shows. If you are coming and using the changing facilities please arrive in time to do so. Cheers, Ömür

It’s gonna be Hot!! Hotter than a Rockstar on Wembley stage at a Live Aid Concert. Too hot to wear clothes when Under Pressure. But that’s a special Kind of Magic reserved for midnight Hashes and The Show Must Go On so come dressed like a Queen or a Rockstar Queen and set your armpits free on trail. Iron that vest, polish those teeth and grow that sexy moustache as We Will Rock You around Zürich and hopefully find the Beer before Another One Bites The Dust under the scorching sun. Hare is Just Beggin’ For It **Where**: See location. Typically within Zurich Zone 10. Look for English speakers wearing running gear. **When:** We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm. There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards. **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards. **Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.* We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups. Abstract painting with acrylic paints: Floral Dreams
Abstract painting with acrylic paints: Floral Dreams
Unwind after work, clear your mind, and immerse yourself in a world of color – that's what this 1.5-hour acrylic painting workshop is all about. "After Work Flow" is a creative space where you can find peace, leave everyday life behind, and fully embrace the moment. No prior experience is necessary – just the desire to try something new and engage with color and movement. On a 30 x 30 cm canvas, you'll discover the freedom of abstract painting. There's no right or wrong, no perfect or imperfect – only your personal expression. You'll learn how colors interact, how they mix, overlap, and create new moods. It's not just about the result, but above all about the process: feeling, observing, and letting go. A special focus is placed on getting to know colors intuitively. You'll be surprised how individual hues change when combined and how much emotion can be contained in a single area of color. Step by step, you'll develop your own abstract painting and learn to let go of preconceived notions. Brushstrokes also play a crucial role. You'll discover different ways to apply paint – calmly, boldly, softly, or with texture. Each brushstroke becomes a movement that lends depth and character to your painting. You're encouraged to experiment, try things out, and find new forms of expression without pressure or expectations. The workshop invites you to enter a state of flow – a place where time ceases to matter and you become completely immersed in the creative process. This is precisely where relaxation arises: when you detach yourself from your thoughts and simply allow yourself to drift. All materials are provided, including a 30 x 30 cm canvas, high-quality acrylic paints, and all necessary tools. At the end, you'll take your own abstract artwork home – a memento of a short creative break just for you. "After Work Flow" is more than just a painting course. It's a break from everyday life, a moment for yourself, and an invitation to experience color anew.
