Palindromes is a pseudo-sequel to Todd Solondz's acclaimed debut, Welcome to the Dollhouse, with a few of the same characters. It shares a curdled vision of working class suburbia as well as a mixture of painful self awareness, tragically black comedy and social maladjustment. As ever with Solondz, it isn't for the faint of heart. The film follows a young girl called Aviva, who wants *very* badly to become a mother, to the shock of her family, and the community around her. If that's too simple, Palindromes experiments by splitting itself into eight separate parts, each of which involve Aviva being played by someone different (including, at one point, Jennifer Jason Leigh). **We don’t do boring Wednesdays... and so on 20th May, to spice up your midweek, we’ve lined up another of London's best activities.** Yep that's right - we'll be heading to one of the most popular activity bars in the city, **Electric Shuffle** in Kings Cross. To kick off the night, we've booked out a space beforehand where you can have some social drinks, meet people, and connect with your fellow 20s and 30s ahead of the main event.
