**Messy Is Welcome** — *Picnic & Acrylic Flow (First Session)* This is the first relaxed creative picnic in the Leyton / Hackney area — a simple pilot gathering to see how it feels together. Friday night Brazilian zouk dance class followed by socialising, drinks and practice dance. A fun dance class 7.30-9 pm where you'll meet lots of first-time dancers and get to know everyone before dancing the night away and socialising. There is a discount for the beginner's class! No experience is required, and you don't need to bring a partner, as partners change regularly to enable everyone to get to know each other. Most people come by themselves and make new friends! After the class, the club night goes on till midnight with DJs and a bar. The venue is hired out exclusively for the people who come for dance classes and practice. The cost is usually £15 but if you're on the guestlist for meetup it's only £10 for the whole evening. Make sure your name is on the guest list!

Everyone who's been nagging me to put this on, well you got it! A night of open-room karaoke in the middle of London. Why open room? Bigger song selection, no one feels under pressure to sing and no one has to pay. We're doing this at [The Britannia](https://www.britanniamonument.com) in Monument, just up the road from London Bridge. It serves food and has karaoke 'til late on Fridays (and Thursdays and Saturdays, apparently), and I'll book a table once I get an idea of numbers. Sing whatever you want or just hang out, but remember: it's not about being 'good', it's about being entertaining and having fun!

Spreading the love of poetry, this session will involve creating a poem by; working on at least 2 poetry techniques, the use of prompts, refinement, and reading out loud. And you get to meet really nice people!!! x
