Park Workout and Martial Arts
We'll start off the session with a run in Gleisdreieck park that might include scaling some walls, visiting a few sites in the area to explore their opportunities for climbing and balancing, or going up or down stairs in unusual ways. After the outdoors bit, we come back to our gym where we focus on building strength, working as a group, and learning basic martial arts techniques. We are a small, accessible, mixed-gender, queer-friendly group open to anyone, without any prior knowledge or specific degree of fitness required. Our martial art is Jutaijutsu, a traditional Japanese one focused on self-defence.
Sounds interesting? We'd love for you to drop by and join us. You'll need running shoes and comfortable workout clothes, including a raincoat or the like for the park if the weather is bad. Once indoors, we train barefoot. The first three Meetups are free of charge. We are a group of friendly people who just want to have a relaxed kick. Dmitry will show how to go deep into the codebase as a PM and make it worth the effort. Crafting code is time consuming, so should PMs code instead of doing PM work? Absolutely. But you must come prepared.

A year ago, we let PMs, designers, and QA contribute directly to our existing codebase using AI. What followed wasn’t just faster shipping – it was a quiet shift in how our team made decisions, handled ownership, and thought about their roles. This is that story.

Vanessa Simon serves as the **Real Estate Intelligence Manager** for Loudoun Economic Development, where she tracks land and property data, manages the county's commercial property database, and builds relationships with developers, brokers, and industry stakeholders throughout Loudoun County.
Prior to joining Loudoun Economic Development, Vanessa served as the Director of Operations for a regional residential real estate team serving Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia. Her experience includes operations management, contracts, compliance, negotiations, and market analysis.
Vanessa holds a bachelor's degree in Biology and Business from Virginia Tech and began her professional career in technical sales before transitioning into real estate and economic development.

With the Waterdeep Dragonheist in full swing, the party finds a treasure map that leads to the City of the Dead. Beneath that well manicured park is an ancient crypt where the treasure of Lord Neverember was hidden away, waiting for skilled thieves to obtain riches beyond the Open Lord herself!
**This event is hosted using the Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition Adventurers League rules. It is a Tier 1 game suitable for players of all experience levels.**
