Ready to sweat it out on the hills? Join us for a HIIT-style hill training hike This hike is part of the **HikeFit Series**, a collection of fitness-focused hikes designed to build strength, endurance, and overall hiking fitness. We’ll challenge you with steep climbs, rugged terrain, and a high-intensity workout. This isn’t a fast-paced hike, but it is **intense**. We’ll tackle multiple **very steep hills** in intervals, with plenty of chances to catch your breath, recover, or skip hills if needed. This hike is designed for intermediate hikers, but it’s **beginner-friendly** since you can skip as many hills as you need. Yonge and Steeles is at the centre of Koreatown North and Little Persia. Bathurst and Steeles is the heart of the Russo-Jewish community in the GTA. This hike covers the transition zone between the two. We'll also make a detour to Westminster Creek at the edge of the neighbourhood. Unsurprisingly, the food here is Korean, Persian, Russian, and Ashkenazi Jewish. There are also two Georgian bakeries—Georgian cuisine is popular in the former Soviet bloc. The hike ends at Bathurst and Steeles, where there are also Vietnamese and Turkish restaurants thrown in the mix. Jennifer is the one typing out the code while Paul and Chloe research, brainstorm, and offer suggestions. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure.
