🏓 Beginner Table Tennis @ House of Padel Hi everyone! I’m new to table tennis and just starting to learn how to play. I created this event for anyone like me who wants to practice, learn the basics, and improve together. This is a beginner-friendly session, so no experience is needed at all. This group is for people who don't feel their German is strong enough for the Deutsch Sprechen Stammtisch. Anyone from complete beginner to native German speaker is welcome. All you need is a willingness to learn and speak German (or as much German as you can) and a willingness to help and be patient with other people who have less German than you have. The aim of this group is to build the confidence as well as ability to speak German in real life situations with others. During social tennis, I offer some coaching advice and matchplay tactics if players are interested in that. It is suitable to all players, whether you're a total beginner or an experienced player, everyone is welcome. Matches will last 15 - 30 minutes depending on the level which is generally a wide range of beginners to advanced players.

12:45-3:45 p.m. in the Meeting Room, library lowest level, by the drinking fountain. Bring your yarn projects, meet new friends. If you plan to attend, please RSVP yes. If you can’t attend, please change your RSVP to no. This helps anyone who is waitlisted and it allows me to have an accurate count of attendees as our space is quite limited. We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot.
