No worries! Learning the basics is quick and easy with our beginner-friendly coaching. You’ll be part of the action in no time, surrounded by both newcomers and experienced players. **Note:** In order to make the most of the session and allow for the smooth running of our beginner inductions, please try to arrive within the first 30 mins of your first session as you will not be able to join after this time. **Always a game happening:** We’re a diverse and international crowd always eager to greet new players. I am proposing to rerun the Bray Head figure of 8 walk chasing the sunrise. I will make the route up on the day, but it will likely be: Promenade - Trig point - Windgates - Cross - Bray. The pace will be easy going with plenty of breaks and opportunities to take in the great views. 📌 meeting point: Bray Dart Station Date: 20th December Meet Time: 07:50am (PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME), walk start 08:00 am It is your own responsibility to organise your transport to the location Duration: approx 4.5/5 hrs What you need/Hike advice • Good footwear with ankle supports, Suitable clothing, Water & Snacks - please bring a packed lunch. • Please bring a head torch as it will be dark. • Please review the hike to ensure it is suitable for your fitness level and ensure you have doctors clearance if you have any medical conditions. There will be one very steep climb to begin with, but nothing that a decent level of fitness could not manage. The pace will be kept leisurely. • Please do not take photos/videos of other hikers without their permission • This is a non-profit group and hiking is at your own risk. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A HEAD TORCH 🔦 AS WE WILL BE STARTING THE WALK IN DARKNESS. We will go to Finbees on the seafront for coffee at the end if people want to. Hopefully see you there 👍.

Join us for a scenic cycle along the North Coast to Donabate Beach, with a coffee stop at the Shoreline Hotel. We’ll ride through the peaceful Newbridge Gardens and pause to admire the historic Newbridge House, a stunning Georgian mansion. The route is **sixty kilometers** with minimal climbing, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable group ride. New members welcome. Here is our plan for the day. 1️⃣ We leave from Clontarf at 930am 2️⃣Cycle out to Donabate, where we stop for coffee. 3️⃣ short stop at Newbridge house and demesne 4️⃣ All going well we should be back in the city centre easily by 2 pm Please wear a helmet and bring a tube etc in case you get a puncture. Please note - It is every participant's responsibility to ride safely, follow the rules of the road, and come prepared with the proper equipment. A 28 km cycle on flat grass n plenty of sheep shit. Helmet not a requirement. Not a bit scenic and def no fantastic views but you may see sheep. 14 out 14 back. headlamp recommended.

The smart-guided tour is mostly through scenic riverside parks with a quick downtown peek. All of that in 10 miles! 83% of the route is bikeway, and the rest is Google Maps designated "bicycle-friendly roads". This short ride passes through several beautiful riverside parks. Passing through downtown the route runs alongside Huntington Park baseball stadium, Nationwide Arena hockey stadium, near North Market (worth a stop if you enjoy markets with lots of tasty treats), within a few blocks of the state capitol, convention center, art museum, center of science and industry, several first-class hotels, and much more (see Points of Interest list below).
