Départ de la gare de Chatou RER A et Arriver au château de saint germain en laye RER A. # [L'Ile des Impressionnistes](http://www.visorando.com/randonnee-l-ile-des-impressionnistes/) Sur les pas des Impressionnistes, quand ils peignaient les paysages de bord de Seine dans la proche banlieue parisienne. Une promenade le long des berges de la Seine, dans des rues tranquilles, et sur deux îles que relie une étroite digue. ## Pendant la rando ou à proximité La machine de Marly servait à alimenter en eau les jardins du château de Versailles. Inaugurée en 1684, la machine se composait de 14 roues de 12 mètres de diamètre qui actionnaient plus de 250 pompes sur différents niveaux. La montée de l’eau se faisait en trois temps: de la Seine à un premier réservoir, puis jusqu’à un deuxième et enfin jusqu’à l’aqueduc de Louveciennes, d’où elle se dirigeait vers les réservoirs de Marly et Louveciennes. Elle rejoignait ensuite le Regard du Jongleur, d’où, selon les besoins, elle était envoyée soit à Versailles soit à Marly. De ce complexe hydraulique subsistent les réservoirs de Marly, le Regard du Jongleur, l’aqueduc de Louveciennes, le bâtiment Charles X, la conduite d’eau sur le coteau de Bougival, des canalisations souterraines et des vestiges hydrauliques dans le parc de Marly. Fast track • Arrange a time to shadow a COUNT volunteer. Call Dave Nohle at 614-268-9558 (cell). • Show up and try it out. • Complete application, etc. later. Normal process • Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/). • Attend orientation in advance. • At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility. • Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM. • Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895). The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014. Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.

Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games! Tonight's a special one; this is "Long form" night! Most nights here at Improv Meetup, we play "short form" games, where the host has established rules that the players must adhere to. These scenes frequently do not tell a connected story and are focused on following those rules; games such as "Alphabet Game" where every next sentence needs to start with the next letter of the alphabet, or "Interrogation" where it's a guessing game. Tonight is focused on "long form", where we will see groups of people come up and do a sort of improvised play. There may be rules to the structure itself to adhere to, or it may be more free form, but doing this allows players to establish a shared world, and to establish characters and callbacks. While your average game may last 2-3 minutes, a long form set will last much longer, and have 4+ people involved. This may be a more complicated night, but we will make sure you feel supported to try this out. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment.
