Join us for an exploratory hiking trip to Montgomery County, Maryland's newest park to celebrate World Water Day. *Water is life!* Royce Hanson Conservation Park at Broad Run was created to protect the Broad Run watershed, its unique geology, rare plants and wildlife, and diverse habitats. This 475-acre park hosts approx. 5 miles of natural surface trails and offers park visitors the unique opportunity to explore this valuable natural landscape through various recreational opportunities with interactions with the rich cultural heritage present across the park. Bring water, lunch, snacks, sturdy footwear, and about $8 for transportation and the Adventuring trip fee. Meet at 10:00 a.m., at the "west side" of the Rockville Metro station Kiss & Ride to form carpools. This is the side with the pedestrian bridge over Hungerford Drive, MD-355. Join Equality Prince William and community partners as we gather to celebrate **Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV)** — a day dedicated to uplifting transgender lives, raising awareness, and strengthening allyship. **What to expect:** * Tabling from local organizations * Guest speakers from the community * Light refreshments (snacks & desserts) * Entertainment including a DJ, karaoke, and possibly transgender/non-binary bingo **About Transgender Day of Visibility** Observed annually on **March 31**, Transgender Day of Visibility was established in 2009 by activist Rachel Crandall to celebrate the achievements, resilience, and joy of transgender people. While Transgender Day of Remembrance honors those lost to violence, TDOV focuses on **visibility, empowerment, and celebration of trans lives**. ## Fairway Friends Opening Round – Herndon Centennial Join us for the **first Fairway Friends – NoVA meetup round** at **Herndon Centennial Golf Course**. Fairway Friends is a relaxed golf group for **gay and bi men over 40 in Northern Virginia and the DMV** who enjoy playing golf, meeting good people, and getting outside during the week. For our opening meetup we’ll play **18 holes** and get to know each other on the course. This isn’t a golf instruction group — just a group of guys who enjoy the game and good company. All skill levels are welcome! The goal is simple: play golf, meet like-minded guys, and build a small group that enjoys getting together regularly. **Course:** Herndon Centennial Golf Course **Format:** 18 holes **Tee Time:** Around 8:30–9:00 AM (final time will be posted once we see how many are playing) If you're interested, RSVP and we’ll coordinate tee times as we get closer to the date.
