First published in 2014, *Outline* is the first novel in Cusk’s acclaimed trilogy. Sharp, introspective, and gripping, it’s a book that invites reflection while remaining deeply readable. Set in Athens during a summer writing course, the novel follows a writer through a series of conversations and encounters. Through these exchanges, Cusk explores love, marriage, freedom, identity, and the ways we make sense of life through the stories we tell — and the stories others tell us.
