Trust, but Sandbox
Trust, but Sandbox
**Trust, but Sandbox** Agents are becoming more autonomous, are expected to work more independently, and are being granted greater privileges. They install tools as and when they need them. And they can access all files on the system, use the browser with existing cookies, and much more. How can we allow the agent to work while still maintaining control? The talk will present three methods for isolating coding agents and compare their advantages and disadvantages. First, I’ll outline the capabilities of a local agent and the risks that come with them. In a live demo, I’ll show just how simple sandboxing can be and how great it feels to switch to ‘YOLO mode’ without a second thought and let the agent work on his tasks. Finally, we’ll take a look at some practical features that a separate environment for agents can offer. **Michael Krämer** is working in software development for over 20 year and works as a Software Architect at INNOQ. He is very commited to work out component designs with clearly defined responsibilities and to find appropriate solutions for requirements. Besides that he is engaged in Machine Learning, the integration of ML models in production environments and works as a trainer for Software Architecture.
Design by Instinct. Then Prove It with Data.
Design by Instinct. Then Prove It with Data.
**If your design feels right, how do you prove that it works?** Creatives are taught to trust their instincts, and rightly so. But intuition alone can leave your best work undefended in the room, and it cannot tell you whether a design actually changed anything. What looks better in a critique still needs to prove that it creates value in the real world. So, the real challenge is knowing what works, not just what looks good. In this keynote, **Mario Stipetic**, product designer, engineer, and product manager based in Zürich, introduces data-driven design as a practical way to use evidence without killing creativity. With over 14 years of experience designing and building SaaS web and mobile products end to end, including as Head of Product Design at a US-based fintech, Mario works at the intersection of design, product, and engineering. Join us on **June 30** as Mario shows, through real before-and-after case studies, how simple data can help teams test ideas, iterate faster, and build products people keep coming back to. **💡 What will you learn?** * Why creativity and data work best together, and how measurement helps you defend your design decisions * How simple methods like a 1–5 survey, a funnel, or a fake button can give you real proof without a big team or budget * How to set a clear hypothesis and one metric before you design, then measure before vs after * How to read what the data is telling you and turn it into sharper copy, visuals, flows, and product decisions *Connect with Mario* [LinkedIn](http://linkedin.com/in/mariostipetic) —— **📍 Where?** [Kulturhaus Helferei](https://maps.app.goo.gl/AJuPTcLTmihXxHyn9), near the Grossmünster in Niederdorf. \> Kirchgasse 13\, 8001 Zürich (Tram-Station Helmhaus) **📅 When?** Tuesday, June 30, 6:45 PM / 18:45 Uhr **⏰ What’s the schedule?** 6:30 PM → Doors open 6:45 PM → Keynote + Q&A 7:30 PM → Networking 🔗 **Discord** Get event reminders and connect with other members on Discord: ➡️ [discord.gg/PAyRBDhKkk](https://discord.gg/PAyRBDhKkk) —— **Who’s Visual Fields?** Visual Fields is a network of designers and creatives built for people to connect, support, and share with fellow experts. INTENSIVE Drawing Class
INTENSIVE Drawing Class
**INTENSIVE Drawing Course - learn to draw independently, step by step** This **intensive drawing course** is for anyone who wants to learn drawing from scratch and master it confidently in the long term. The goal of this course is to guide you step by step **to being able to draw independently** – without reference materials, without uncertainty, and with a solid understanding of form, proportion, and light. The focus is on building a strong foundation that is essential for any drawing style In this course, you'll learn the **absolute basics of drawing** : sketching, shading, and accurate measuring. These three areas form the foundation for both realistic and stylized drawings. You'll learn how to observe subjects correctly, place lines deliberately, and create depth and volume using simple techniques. Measuring proportions, in particular, will help you avoid typical beginner mistakes and significantly improve your drawings. This intensive course is intentionally structured as **an ongoing drawing course**. Drawing is a skill that develops through regular practice. A single session can be inspiring, but it's not enough to make real progress. Through consistent participation, you'll systematically build your knowledge and develop an increasingly refined sense of form, light, and perspective. Each lesson builds upon the previous one and reinforces the concepts learned. A key focus is on **practical application** . You'll actively draw in every lesson and receive individual feedback. I'll personally guide you, show you alternative approaches, and help you develop your own drawing style. The goal is not only to instruct you but also to equip you with the necessary tools to **continue drawing independently** and realize your own designs. ### Draw more, pay less Those who want to draw regularly will benefit from a **course subscription**. With a subscription (4, 6, or 12 lessons), each lesson becomes significantly cheaper. The subscription is ideal for anyone who is motivated, wants to stick with it, and consistently improve their drawing skills. Regular sessions provide structure, routine, and visible progress – exactly what many people need when drawin **For whom?** This intensive drawing course is suitable **for beginners *and motivated newcomers* .** No prior knowledge is required. What's most important is the desire to truly learn how to draw and the willingness to practice regularly. Talent isn't crucial – patience, interest, and consistency are the keys to success. If you want to learn **to draw confidently and independently** , solidify your basics and improve step by step, this intensive course is just right for you.
KIDS Manga Drawing Class
KIDS Manga Drawing Class
Drawing manga often seems complicated and intimidating at first glance. The expressive eyes, distinctive features, and dynamic characters lead many to believe that years of experience are required. But this manga drawing workshop addresses that very fact: drawing manga is much easier than you think when you learn the right basics and are guided step by step. In my manga drawing workshops, children and teenagers learn the most important manga drawing techniques in a playful and easy-to-understand way. The course is structured so that it is easy to understand even without prior knowledge and provides a sense of accomplishment from the very beginning. The goal is to dispel participants' fear of drawing and foster their creativity. All necessary materials are included in the course, so you don't need to bring anything. Drawing paper, pencils, and other materials are provided on site. Warm-up and Sketching Exercises (10–15 minutes) We begin by loosening up our hands with simple drawing exercises and quick sketches. These help develop confidence in your lines and allow you to start drawing in a relaxed way. Basics: Manga Faces (approx. 30 minutes) You will learn step by step how typical manga faces are constructed – from the basic shape and proportions to the eyes, nose, mouth, and facial expression. Drawing a Manga Character Together (45–60 minutes) Afterwards, we will put what we have learned into practice and draw a complete manga character together. You will learn how to make characters come alive and how small details convey personality.

Abstract painting with acrylic paints: Floral Dreams
Abstract painting with acrylic paints: Floral Dreams
Unwind after work, clear your mind, and immerse yourself in a world of color – that's what this 1.5-hour acrylic painting workshop is all about. "After Work Flow" is a creative space where you can find peace, leave everyday life behind, and fully embrace the moment. No prior experience is necessary – just the desire to try something new and engage with color and movement. On a 30 x 30 cm canvas, you'll discover the freedom of abstract painting. There's no right or wrong, no perfect or imperfect – only your personal expression. You'll learn how colors interact, how they mix, overlap, and create new moods. It's not just about the result, but above all about the process: feeling, observing, and letting go. A special focus is placed on getting to know colors intuitively. You'll be surprised how individual hues change when combined and how much emotion can be contained in a single area of color. Step by step, you'll develop your own abstract painting and learn to let go of preconceived notions. Brushstrokes also play a crucial role. You'll discover different ways to apply paint – calmly, boldly, softly, or with texture. Each brushstroke becomes a movement that lends depth and character to your painting. You're encouraged to experiment, try things out, and find new forms of expression without pressure or expectations. The workshop invites you to enter a state of flow – a place where time ceases to matter and you become completely immersed in the creative process. This is precisely where relaxation arises: when you detach yourself from your thoughts and simply allow yourself to drift. All materials are provided, including a 30 x 30 cm canvas, high-quality acrylic paints, and all necessary tools. At the end, you'll take your own abstract artwork home – a memento of a short creative break just for you. "After Work Flow" is more than just a painting course. It's a break from everyday life, a moment for yourself, and an invitation to experience color anew.
Punch Needle Workshop in Zürich
Punch Needle Workshop in Zürich
In this Punch Needle workshop, you'll transform simple threads into a unique work of art. Punch Needle is a modern yet relaxing embroidery technique where loops are created in the fabric using a special needle. This results in textured, soft surfaces and expressive patterns. The workshop is ideal for getting to know Punch Needle, unwinding creatively, or creating something beautiful with your own hands in a short amount of time – no prior experience necessary. At the beginning of the workshop, you'll receive a brief introduction to the basics of the Punch Needle technique. I'll show you step by step how to use the needle correctly, how to guide the thread, and how to create even loops. You'll learn what to pay attention to so that your design is neat and stable. The calm, even movement makes Punch Needle particularly relaxing and perfect for a creative break from everyday life. In the workshop, you can choose between two creative options: Option 1 – Embroider a Design You choose an existing (or your own) design and embroider it without a background. This option is ideal for beginners or anyone who wants to try Punch Needle in a straightforward way. The focus is entirely on the technique and the design itself. Here you can transform your work into a saucer. Option 2 – Design with Background Here you embroider your design including a background. This gives your work more depth and a particularly beautiful, flat texture. This option is suitable for anyone who wants to make their artwork a bit more elaborate. Here you can also transform your work into a saucer or hang it up as decoration. The maximum workshop duration is up to 1 hour. Depending on your pace and design, you can complete your work or a large part of it within this time. I will personally guide you throughout the entire workshop, give you tips, and support you with any questions or uncertainties. Everything is optional – the important thing is that you enjoy the process. All materials are included. You will work with high-quality yarns in various colors, fabric, a hoop, and a punch needle. You don't need to bring anything – except a desire for creativity. You can take your embroidered work home with you at the end, whether as a decoration, a gift, or a personal keepsake. If you're looking to discover something new, relax creatively, and create your own work of art in a short amount of time, this punch needle workshop is perfect for you. 🧶✨
