#### Join us for a serene and scenic 6-7m walk starting from Tottenham Hale at 12:30 PM, This is a flat walk (no hills), we will visit Walthamstow Wetlands Nature Park: https://www.wildlondon.org.uk/nature-reserves/walthamstow-wetlands . A wonderful blend of riverside trails, peaceful greenery, and opportunities to connect with nature. Lets take it easy and go with the flow. Every Wednesday at 620 High Street, North Finchley, N12 0NU (Christ Church Hall) from 8pm to 10pm. Doors open at 7:45pm. Lessons are formatted in two sessions. In each session there will be 30 minutes teaching followed by 20 minutes practice. Pay at the door for £15 per lesson. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor.
