Jewellers can hire a desk in our workshop to make or finish off their own pieces. This workshop is self run, you need to attend a health and safety induction before working daily unattended. Basic jewellery making tools are provided and some consumables such as flux, borax, tumbling polish, lathe polish and some drill bits. Join me for a screening of *Free Solo* at ACMI — the Oscar-winning documentary following climber Alex Honnold as he attempts to scale the 900-metre face of El Capitan in Yosemite, with no rope and no safety gear. It's gripping, beautiful, and genuinely nerve-wracking on a big cinema screen. We'll meet outside the 7-Eleven at 5:30pm, say hello, then head over to ACMI Cinemas together in time for the 6:00pm start. The film runs about 1 hour 40 minutes, so we'll be out around 7:45pm. This is a casual social meetup so we can head along together — it isn't run by or affiliated with ACMI. The screening is free, but please book your own ticket directly with ACMI using the link below.
