Brazilian percussionist **Gabriel Lopes** returns to Zürich for a special weekend of samba with Zurich School of Samba. The weekend opens with a **Pagode / Roda de Samba workshop** on Friday evening, followed by two days of **Samba Enredo workshops** on Saturday and Sunday. Participants will explore the musical language of **Rio de Janeiro samba schools**, playing together in a full bateria and developing groove, listening and ensemble balance. The Saturday and Sunday workshops form a **two day musical progression**, building towards the full energy of playing together in a samba school style bateria. Open to all levels. Join us, metalheads of Zurich and its surrounding areas, in our regular Wednesday meetup for some afterwork drinks, chaotic socializing and listening to heavy music! **Where?** The meetup will be held at ***[Ebrietas Bar](https://ebrietas.ch/)*** \- a metal & rock bar located in Zurich's oldtown and boasting a selection of whiskeys\, rum & spirits\, in addition to countless shot creations and over 21 different types of beer\. **When?** The gathering will officially begin at \~7:00pm and normally goes until midnight.
