A friendly get together for people who like to play boardgames. You are welcome to join. We can converse in English or German. You may bring your own games or we have quite an extensive cupboard full of games you are welcome to use. There are always people who will explain games, so no need to worry. Just come. Usually we meet at 18:30 and decide what we want to play. Usually we are able to fill 4-6 tables or more with different games. So you will certainly find something to your taste and likes. Please note that we would like to ask for a small donation of CHF 2. We need to pay rent for the room.

Die TeilnehmerInnen bezahlen zwei Franken ins Spielclub-Kässeli. Mitglieder Wer will, kann Spielclub-Mitglied werden, was 20 Fr. im Jahr kostet. Mitglieder dürfen an den Spielabenden zwei Spielen (je einem grossen und einem kleinen) einen Punkt auf der Wunschliste geben. Reicht das Geld im Spielclub-Kässeli, wird das punktreichste Spiel gekauft und kommt in die Spielekiste. Spielekiste Die Spielekiste steht jeden Spielabend zur Verfügung. Ist sie übervoll, wird für die Mitglieder ein Spielsonntag veranstaltet, an dessen Ende die Spiele bewertet werden. Die Spiele mit den wenigsten Punkte verlassen die Kiste (und werden den Teilnehmern geschenkt), und das Spiel mit den meisten Punkten wird zum neuen Turnierspiel.

Welcome to the Winterthur Badminton Meetup! 🏸👊😉🍻 We’re an international group created for badminton fans in and around Winterthur. Open to Expats and Swiss folks who want to train and socialise with fellow ‘badmintonists’. Or perhaps you’d like to learn the sport and meet new people? Whether doing it for fun or fitness, the idea is to enjoy and have a great (kickass) midweek. And everyone is welcome to join us for a postgame drink or two! The topic for May is "Ink" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect.
