**Welcome to UK Mafia!** We meet at **The KINGS ARMS near London Bridge** on the Second Floor (see large function room). **Do I need to know anything beforehand?** This is a **beginner-only** event, and many will be playing with us for the first time. If you are new, **please arrive early if you can** to hear explanations of the rules, and so you get to play many games. We will also explain strategies. Play the game that 'Traitors' is based upon! Mafia is a 10-player social game; it can get competitive, but it's easy to learn. We play at multiple tables. You get a secret role and work with your team to win. A game lasts about 45 minutes, so we play many during the day. The **Mafia team** tries to hide and eliminate the **Citizens**, while the **Citizens** try to find the Mafia through deduction and logic. While this is a beginner-friendly event, we also host tournaments and online events with players from around the world. Before our main series of games launches in April, we’re running a special one‑off event — perfect for newcomers who want to dip their toes into our role playing games or returning players looking for a fresh adventure. This session will take place **indoors at a small hall**, rather than our usual outdoor woodland setting.
