Come and join us for an Introduction to Meditation! Every week, we meet up to do guided meditation in English. Before the meditation event, there will be a short talk to introduce and explain who we are and what we do. If you are new to Buddhism or meditation, it is an ideal place to start. The class will focus on Hatha Yoga. Gradually and together we will build on strength and flexibility. I will also focus on mindfulness while incorporating elements of breath work. Each class will start off with some breathing ( to normalise the breathing rate ) and loosening exercises ( to remove lethargy ). We will then transit to Sun Salutations, Asanas flow and finally cooling off with relaxation. Beginners are welcome to join as I will provide different variations for each Asana. If you have had any recent injuries or surgeries, please share privately before the class and I can modify the asanas for you.
