Here’s your chance to learn the fun of standup paddleboarding in the Washington, DC area! The two-hour lesson is taught by a local legend among stand-up paddle board instructors. He’s going to provide a top-quality, enthusiastic, supportive environment. The instruction is geared toward starting out right and getting a solid understanding of the fundamentals. For those who been in the previous session, here’s your chance to refine the fundamentals. The lesson may be held in a section of the C&O canal, or on the Potomac itself. This area is one of the most picturesque settings in the DC area, where there are frequent sightings of eagles, egrets, turkey vultures and other wildlife. If you already know a little paddleboarding and have your own equipment, you are welcome to come paddle along with the group, cheer your friends on, and get free pointers on your paddling technique.
