Victoria Olivella is an Argentine tango dancer and teacher recognised for her elegance, musicality, and strong technical foundation. She gained international attention as the World Vice Champion of Tango in 2022, a title that established her among the leading figures of the contemporary tango scene. She came so close to being world champion – at this level, the difference between sub-champion and world champion is infinitesimal ;-). Known for her refined style and expressive interpretation, Olivella performs and teaches at festivals and events across Europe and beyond, often partnering with renowned dancers. Her teaching is especially appreciated for being clear, warm, and practical, focusing on technique, connection, and musical awareness developed through years of experience. You will find her teaching impressively warm and useful, giving tips that she developed in her dancing along the years. Friday night Brazilian zouk dance class followed by socialising, drinks and practice dance. A fun dance class 7.30-9 pm where you'll meet lots of first-time dancers and get to know everyone before dancing the night away and socialising. There is a discount for the beginner's class! No experience is required, and you don't need to bring a partner, as partners change regularly to enable everyone to get to know each other. Most people come by themselves and make new friends! After the class, the club night goes on till midnight with DJs and a bar. The venue is hired out exclusively for the people who come for dance classes and practice. Her final master’s project was based on the promotion of Spanish dance, receiving a First-Class Degree.
