Looking for something fun and a little cheeky to do on a Saturday night? Then the Aprons Only Cooking class is the perfect option for you. It's a playful and social cooking experience designed for gay men who enjoy good food, great company, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll start the evening with a glass of bubbles and a selection of antipasti to break the ice. Then together we’ll cook a traditional Italian dish from scratch. On this occasion, you’ll learn how to prepare a delicious stuffed meatloaf wrapped in crusty pastry (a vegetarian option will also be available). The class takes place in a cosy private flat near Victoria Station and is limited to a small group of up to 10 people to keep the atmosphere relaxed and intimate. Cooking together is a great way to meet like-minded people, share laughs, learn new skills and maybe even flirt a little. And yes… because it’s a themed event, we will be cooking wearing only an apron (provided on arrival). Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able! Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Each meetup will explore different topics related to ASL/Deaf culture, and will feature time to practice conversation with one another. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!
