Last year, we kicked off our workout journey at the Hoi Bun Rd Park with a small group of ~-10 dedicated regulars. But now, we're ready to amp it up with Fitfam and fill that Thursday void with some serious fitness fun! 🏋🏻‍♂️🏋🏻‍♂️🏋🏻‍♂️

*Two Rooms and a Boom* is a fast-paced social deduction party game for 6–30 players, where teams (Blue/President vs. Red/Bomber) are split across two separate, isolated rooms. In this talk, Bonnie challenges this rigid structure by sharing her personal pattern break. Despite a 20-year career in venture capital and engineering, Bonnie had zero video production/ media skills. Yet, using AI as her "production crew," she built YOLO 街, which became a 2025 Top Trending YouTube channel in Hong Kong. In the age of AI, prior “learned skills” are no longer the bottleneck. If you have the curiosity, AI provides the technical execution, allowing for radical career pivots in both directions. More importantly, the sanitary pad vending machine project will create thousands of job opportunities for low-income and single mothers, allowing them to regain economic participation without sacrificing caregiving responsibilities. So this month's prompt is more general. I think we can all agree that we are living in "unique" times that require coping skills. I think that one role and/or purpose of philosophy is to help us deal with our daily lives and our "unique" times. So, let's share our feelings and thoughts about which philosopher/philosophy we turn to in order to deal with our crazy events. Who/what helps you stay focused in your daily life and helps you sleep at night. I find that Stoicism with a little philosophical pessimism mixed in goes a long way in helping me deal with what I see as very destructive, fearful and mean spirited public policies at both the state and federal levels.
