You will learn Python through making a text-based adventure game. A special FREE beginners session for those of you looking to begin a new sport or just looking for a bit exercise! All skill levels and experience are welcome so just sign up here, or check out the Dublin Dodgeball page on Facebook/Instagram. We are in the Bluebell community centre for this session. This is a 5 minute walk from the Blackhorse and Bluebell Luas stops, and is well served by Dubin Bus also. We do a few minutes of warm-up followed by a few training drills for the game and then playing dodgeball and games until the end. All you need is normal sports gear so anything you feel comfortable running around in. If you like it you can learn more about tournaments and trips coming up in the future.

\*\*Each week we typically have 2-3 spots open to players from this app. This is why you will only see 2-3 attending. The others are regulars and we coordinate in a private WhatsApp group\*\* We play a 6v6 game every Wednesday @ 8:00PM in SportsCo, Dublin 4. The pitch we use is spacious an ideal for 6v6 (ball/all bibs provided). To encourage passing and flowing football, goals can only be scored from inside the penalty area. Games are played in a friendly atmosphere and slide tackles are prohibited. We don't have stick keepers and use a last-man back policy. There is a core group of regular players who have played with us for years but we also invite a handful of pickup players to play from this app. If pickup players like the vibe they might have the option to subscribe on a longer-term basis. This game has been running on the same pitch for over a decade. The games are good quality with good technical players and always played in a nice, competitive atmosphere.
