A $20 non refundable deposit is required for this event and will be refunded on the night.
The deposit will be required 48 hours from RSVPing to the event or you will be moved removed from the event.
Please make payment to the following account only if you are on the going list.
BSB 013125
Account 150808654
Please let me know once payment is made. PLEASE USE YOUR NAME AND VENUE AS YOUR REFERENCE.
Please only RSVP to an event if you fully intend to show. Pulling out of a dinner or another booked event (with a venue) on the day is a kick in the teeth for both the venue and the organiser. I understand there are instances where this is unavoidable, but you are short changing the venue on the revenue they are reliant upon, especially when it comes to paying their staff. It may be too late to rebook those tables with other patrons. Not to mention the stress this puts the organisers under.
Please be considerate.
Multicultural Film Festival Premiere: A Million Stories at ACMI
Join me for the Multicultural Film Festival Premiere 2026 at ACMI.
The Multicultural Film Festival is an annual short film festival presented by the Victorian Multicultural Commission. This year’s theme is “A Million Stories,” celebrating the richness that refugees and multicultural communities bring through lived experience, creativity and storytelling.
The evening includes a networking function, short film screenings and an awards ceremony. It should be a thoughtful, relaxed and meaningful cultural night for anyone interested in film, multicultural stories, creativity, community and different perspectives.
You are very welcome to come solo. We’ll meet outside Time Out Fed Square restaurant first, say hi, then walk over to ACMI together before the festival starts.
After the event, we can optionally grab dinner nearby if people are interested.
**Who this is for**
This is for anyone interested in short films, cultural stories, multicultural Australia, refugee stories, community events, arts, cinema or just trying something different on a Thursday evening.
No film knowledge needed — just come with an open mind and a relaxed attitude.

**Meeting Location: Gilsons, 171 Domain Road South Yarra.**
Meet by 9:30am to order coffee. Walking by no later than 9:40am. If you are ordering coffee please make sure your order is in by 9:35 at the latest.
Replacing our women's only monthly brunch, we bring you our *Monthly Gals Walk*.
As the months get cooler, and cost of living goes up, we need a place to be held accountable to getting out of bed, getting in our exercise and not spending a tonne of money we don't need to.
Our monthly women's brunches have always been a space where we can be surrounded by like-minded women in a super welcoming setting, discuss important topics related to bettering ourselves and get below the surface level small talk - all whilst making some great new friends!
You can still expect all of this at our monthly walks.
Our *June* topic will be announced closer to the date.
Bring all of your go-to tips, bring your questions you need answered and let's connect through movement and coffee.
If the weather turns, we will still go ahead, just indoors at a local cafe.
Make sure you follow our IG page for latest updates on events:
