Gentle Vinyasa is a slow, mindful yoga practice that connects breath and movement in a steady rhythm. The class focuses on soft flow sequences designed to release tension, improve mobility, and support nervous system balance. The pace allows participants to move with awareness rather than intensity. The session concludes with sound healing using crystal bowls. The sound supports integration and relaxation, allowing the body to settle after movement. This practice is suitable for all levels and does not require previous yoga experience. The class includes guided movement and a closing relaxation with sound. Join the [Veg Society of DC (VSDC)](vsdc.org) for a pro-animal/vegan-themed Movie Watch Party on Saturday, March 21 at 3:00 pm in Fairfax VA. Socializing with vegan food beforehand and discussion about the movie afterwards is planned. THIS MONTH'S MOVIE WATCH PARTY WILL BEGIN AT 3 PM. This month's movie is Wicked: For Good (Part 2). *Wicked: For Good* explores the untold story behind the witches of Oz, following two unlikely friends whose choices, values, and courage shape the world around them. It’s a powerful, visually stunning story about identity, loyalty, and what it truly means to be “good.” The movie is 2 hours and 17 minutes long. The VSDC member hosts’ home in Fairfax has a small home theater that can accommodate around 20 people. This regular event is a fun way to learn, discuss, and meet vegans and vegan-curious people (Thanks to Mindy Kursban and David Kwiatkowski for hosting!). FEE: The $12 fee will cover the hosts' expenses for the event, including food, beverages, and other associated costs. If there are any proceeds beyond these costs, which we don't expect, they will go towards VSDC's work to fulfill its mission. Following the events of the first movie, Grace MacCaullay (Samara Weaving), having survived the Le Domas Family's deadly game of hide and seek, is now pitted against the richest and powerful families in the world in another deadly game of cat and mouse, while protecting her younger sister Faith (Kathryn Newton), who is also marked for death. I'll be seated in F7 for the 7:15 pm showing. We'll meet over at Atlas an hour before the movie starts. About 15-20 minutes after the showtime, then we'll go in. Afterwards, we'll go back to Atlas.
