Join us for a relaxed, scenic spring walk across the Toronto Islands, where open water, quiet pathways, and skyline views come together in one of the city’s most peaceful settings. The Islands have a rich and layered history — once a sandbar peninsula connected to the mainland until a storm in 1858 separated it, creating the island chain we know today. Over time, it’s been home to cottages, amusement parks, and a tight-knit residential community that still exists on Ward’s Island. On this walk, we’ll move from the quieter, more open spaces of Hanlan's Point, through the lively areas of Centre Island, and end in the charming residential feel of Ward's Island.
