Journaling and Scrapbooking at a Bakery ☕️🥐
Let’s hang out and journal together, trade stationary and stickers, and have a good time! Please note, we do not have a reservation, so we will do our best to find some good spots when we get there.
Acoustic Gypsy Jazz Jam
We will play acoustic gypsy/swing jazz music. This time will be at a bar just around the corner from where we met last time. This way folks can order foods or drinks if they want and we can have more room to spread out and also will not have a hard stop time since the bar will be open anyway. The first jam we had out here in Leesburg was really fun and I met lots of fun new musician friends. Looking forward to this next one. Hopefully, we will see some of those great musicians who showed up last time and maybe some new faces as well. :)
This space is also on the ground floor, so no stairs to walk up. Also still just around the corner from the free downtown parking garage.

New Millennium Rock Hits Jam!
Hello Rockers!
Let's get together and jam out some top hits since the new millennium (since 1/1/2000) at Crescendo Studios in Falls Church, VA. This will be a new venue for our jams and will probably be more accommodating to access for many of our DC Rockers members. The studio is located near the Mosaic District in Merrifield on the eastbound side of Lee Highway (US-29).
We'll be in Studio A on the first floor of the studio which is mostly-equipped with a drum kit, keyboard, sound system, amps and mics. Attendees will be expected to bring their own instruments but should not need to bring amps or speakers. This studio is a little smaller than Kokopelli and other studios we've used previously, so we'll have to limit the capacity some for this jam.
Please RSVP and start suggesting some top rock hits released since the year 2000 for this jam! Also please list the instrument(s)/role(s) you want to do. In a few weeks, I will take all song suggestions from those who RSVP and release a poll for everyone to vote on what we'll cover. We'll go with the top 6 (or so) vote-getters for the jam. I'll plan to publish the set list in early March to allow folks time to learn and practice the songs ahead of time.
Looking forward to jamming with you!
