We engage in rituals, meditation, card pulls, and other activities geared toward creating community with our fellow seekers. We honor the divine feminine and craft new ways to forge our paths. Sarah Karney (Mary Rose Mara) is a solitary, eclectic witch in practice for four years. She works with tarot, shadow work, and astrology to connect with the Divine Feminine. She is an intersectional feminist who loves sharing her experience as a witch, especially with those new to the craft. She leads workshops on magical practices, writes a blog (witch baby witch), and studies many forms of holistic healing. She believes in activism in the community and loves helping others find joy and spirituality.

📚 Do you love reading, but wish you had a structure and a community to share your insights with? Join our small circle of curious minds (just 4 members per gathering) as we come together for an hour of focused reading—in the calm setting of a library or the cozy atmosphere of a café. Here’s how it works: First part: Quiet reading on your own—bring a book you’re exploring, whether it’s philosophy, history, psychology, literature, or anything meaningful to you. Second part: We regroup and each person shares key takeaways, insights, or questions sparked by their reading. This sparks a structured yet free-flowing conversation around ideas, perspectives, and personal reflections. Why join? Add structure to your reading habit. Discover new books, authors, and ideas through others’ choices. Build real connections by sharing and listening deeply. Socialize around something meaningful instead of small talk.

This event is inspired by a suggestion from one of our members. I'm curious what we'll find, as I've never been to Roggenart. Join us in Reston for good vibes on a midweek morning, complete with essential fuel! (No discussions on politics, religion or potentially controversial topics. We're here to relax and have fun. Tuesday Night Women's+ Ride at Wakefield This is the women's+ night ride at Wakefield Park in Annandale, Virginia. Park in the last parking lot. After you turn into the parking lot, make an immediate right and park (across from the purple recycling bin). We meet there prior to the ride. All riders joining this ride will need to accept the standard MORE liability waiver form. **Wheels down at 6:45pm** Ride will be about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the group. The ride leader(s) will try to start as promptly as possible. Bring: Trail-ready mountain bike, helmet, tube, and water. Optional: Tools, gloves, snacks, and lights. We will need lights this time of year. Pace Casual to moderate pace depending on the group. This is a no-drop ride. (A drop is leaving someone behind who is slower than the group. We won't do that - but if you feel like you are not able to keep up, please let the ride leader know.) All riding abilities are welcome, but it is recommended riders have a few off-road rides under their belts first. Terrain Wakefield is generally considered easier to intermediate by most riders. There are a few small stream crossings and some log obstacles. Riders should use good judgment and dismount when in doubt. The ride will typically consist of a mix of single track, fire roads, and other trail sections in the park. This meeting will continue the discussion on making ourselves useless and any journal work done (discussed at April 12th meeting). We will get in touch with our Crone Touchstones (Pg 33 of book). The three stones are Wisdom, Knowledge, and F\*ck It. You can bring your own stones to paint or use ones provided. All painting supplies will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own. Our group is welcome to all who identify as women—those in their wisdom years and those journeying toward them, embracing cycles of growth, transformation, and deepening self-awareness. This space honors women celebrating the strength, creativity, and wisdom that unfold through each season of the feminine path. Come join us, practice your tarot and oracle card reading in a safe environment while making new friends. Bring your favorite deck(s) or a new one you’re wanting to break in and read for your peers while they practice their skills on you. After everyone has had a reading we will go out for lunch and get to know each other better outside of tarot. This month we will go to Public House Kitchen & Brewery https://www.phbrewpub.com **Rules**: - You must play if you want to stay! This is not an opportunity to get a free reading. If you show up you are expected to read. - We practice radical inclusion. Everyone of every faith is welcome. Bullying or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. - We’re all here to learn.
