Throughout the week, we’ll study [Bible Project’s “Character of God Word Study”](https://bibleproject.com/videos/collections/character-of-god/) at our own pace & share our thoughts, reflections & questions with one another through a What’s App group.

Beat the heat and play a game in the company of your fellow autists this Saturday! Per library policy, food is prohibited, but covered drinks are permitted. I'll bring my Uno cards. Please bring board games, card games, whatever games you want! Per fire code, only 20 persons are permitted. Once the RSVP limit hits 20, the list will be closed. But don't worry! We'll be going to dinner afterwards.

Together, we’ll experience stories, riddles, and memories that reflect everyday life, humor, and the values that connect generations. We’re not just bringing it back… we’re turning it ALL THE WAY UP. Disco Night 1.0 was a movie. Packed dance floor. Nonstop energy. People didn’t want to leave. Now we run it back - bigger, louder, and even more electric. Fernando is taking over the music again, dropping hit after hit from his signature playlist. No breaks. No slow moments. Just pure dance-floor energy from start to finish. Lights. Music. Movement. That moment when your “one song” turns into five more. If you were there last time - you already know what’s coming. If you missed it - don’t make the same mistake twice. This is not a stand-around event. This is a show up, move, and lose track of time kind of night. Social Sips & Bites… we’re taking over the dance floor again.

This is a support & co-work sesh for anyone doing the scary thing of building something new (a business! substack! a pop-up shop! a website! whatever is your current calling!) on their own that want to connect, support each other, and provide compassionate accountability. This group is especially for folks seeking to imbue more life into this world and create change through their creative endeavours. We'll gather at a coffee shop, introduce ourselves and what we are working on, set small goals on what we need communal support on for the day and get co-working. Given the purpose of the group, we ask that the work you bring is related to the something you are building! We'll then get to chat about how that went for us, and celebrate our little or big progress.

Come to MLK Library for a free, family-friendly afternoon of conversation, celebration, and really good food. We're inviting the whole area to join us in celebrating ourselves, our neighbors, and the things that make DC special. There will be games, giveaways, and a chance to make new connections at every level. Bring your hopes and dreams for the future of our city, and an open mind to learn from your neighbors. Families with teens &/or tweens - bring a snack & come play/hang out! LOCATION UPDATE - PRIVATE RESIDENCE a mile away from the park. Water play day! We'll meet at our house on our large covered patio. Bring water squirters & other water play toys. We'll have a sprinkler. I AM SENDING A MESSAGE WITH LOCATION TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE RSVP'D The Teen/Tween potluck meetup is monthly. We meet for eating, playing, conversation... I'm mom to 11 & 15 year olds. We've been vegan since 2012. This meetup is for vegan or vegan-curious youth & their families. All are welcome. If your family has a food allergy, please let me know & I'll share with the group. Make or buy vegan food to share and hang out/play. Bring: -vegan snack to share -your own drink -outdoor games/balls -chairs/blanket Please make sure the snack you bring to share is vegan. I'll provide paper towels. Event will be held in all weather. In case of inclement weather, we will hold the event at our home, 1 mile away, on our large covered patio.

This event is **NOT on a first come-first serve** basis and players with higher skill level and players who can bring a net/ball will get priority over others on the wait list. 2. Since skill levels are **self-reported**, some new attendees may not meet the expected level. For doubles, we encourage you to choose a partner you can enjoy the game with, and since this a competitive event, it is okay if you make a strong team and win all the games. 3. Each person must help set up and take down one net, leaving some nets unset for latecomers. 4.
