This run is part of our preparation series for the Oberelber Dresden Race. The pace will be 6:30–7:30 min/km. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to join the trip. Run and workout with Francesca! 🥰 On 28.02, we‘ll meet at S-Bahn Plänterwald at 11 am and will run in the direction of Rummelsburger Ufer. It’s a 10k easy run with two short workout sessions along the way, so feel free to join, even if you’re new. Each workout will last about 10 minutes, with exercises adapted to suit every individual’s level. Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Welcome! This football session is for individuals who like playing on moderate to high intensity (run a lot and change position to give player with the ball option to pass). Usually play on a pretty competitive level. Our football skills are average to good. To keep things fair and enjoyable for all, we follow a few simple rules: * **Show up at 07:45** so that you can get checked by the organiser * If you are not checked by the organiser then \*\*1 match penalty applies\*\*(being moved to waitlist) * **No studs** * If you show up with studs, then you wont be allowed to play * No dangerous tackling * If you get tackled, you need to call the foul * In case of handball only people close (1-2m) can call handball * Since we play 12v12, we have offsides (0-1m difference is still tolerated) * No penalties for handball in penalty box(no way of proving handball and please be fair) * In case of handball, the other teams goalkeeper gets the ball

Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
