**Let's celebrate new year! You can come at any time!**
1.) 18:30 - 19:00: Gathering at the meeting spot.
2.) 19:00 - 19:30: Walk&Talk to Kerb foodcourt.
3.) 19:30 - 22:00: Dinner/Drinks at the Kerb foodcourt.
🪑: Reserved tables for the meetup (only approved members on the list!).
🍬: Free sweets for everyone on the attending list.
⚠️**Note:** ONLY approved members who signed up for this event are allowed to join, because the seats in the Kerb food court are limited. I'll make a reservation once I know the exact number of people joining!
**1.) How to the find Quartier 205 Stadtmitte:**
[https://goo.gl/maps/6Fhft3LbPhcEsQrdA](https://goo.gl/maps/6Fhft3LbPhcEsQrdA)
The exact meeting spot can be seen in the photo below!
We meet on the 1st floor where the trash sculpture can be seen. Look for a meetup sign or organizer wearing a black or red lanyard with "staff" written on it.
**2.) Walk&Talk to Kerb:**
The best part. In order to extend the walk we'll stroll all the way to Brandenburger gate and from there to the former Sony Center where we are going to enter the Kerb foodcourt.
**3\. How to find the Manifesto Market**
[https://goo.gl/maps/aSnChzLuE6akyP4F8](https://goo.gl/maps/aSnChzLuE6akyP4F8)
The food hub is located in "The Playce". The new flagship shopping center of Potsdamer Platz. Most likely we will be upstairs on the first floor next to Kabuki. The first floor offers authentic Asian food from Korea, Japan and China: Bibimbap, ramen, sushi, sea food etc.
The ground floor offers Syrian, Greek, Mexican and Argentinian cuisine, tasty Hamburgers, rolled ice creme and a beer tower!
*Who is this meetup for:*
1\. Asians who want to practice German and/or English\.
2\. German speaking individuals who are studying \(preferably\) Japanese\, Korean\, Mandarin or Cantonese\.
3\. Anyone who is interested in cultural exchange and wants to socialize\.
*What you can expect:*
1\. A professionally organized meetup that can adapt to any changes given the current situation\.
2\. A Walk & Talk to break the ice\.
3\. A collaborating venue where you can further socialize with other members\.
***
Whenever you attend a meetup, the most common as well as first question you get is: "Where are you from?"
You probably heard this question a million times. Well, at least I did.
From my own experience of attending over 200 international meetups in various countries such as Germany, Japan, Australia and Thailand, I can tell you that asking for the name is a better approach.
“A person’s name is to that person, the sweetest, most important sound in any language.” - Dale Carnegie
If you really want to connect with like-minded people you should remember their name, but you don't have to remember every persons name you've talked you. Be picky about that, don't be me who can somehow remember everyones name easily. Don't tell yourself sth. like "I'm bad at remembering names." It's all about developing the habit of asking for a name and keep the conversation going on. Furthermore, you want to learn German or any other language. Learning the local language is crucial to connect with the locals and developing a true friendship. This can be accomplished with immersion. My goal is to inspire you to go out of your comfort zone and improve yourself each time you join this meetup.

Founders Pitch Feedback – Pitch & Networking Night
Get ready to pitch your startup and snag some real, straight-up feedback from experienced founders!
Ready to sharpen your pitch and get real feedback from fellow founders? Join GrowFirma’s **Founders Pitch Feedback** night, where early‑stage founders pitch their ideas and receive constructive input from the Berlin founder community.
**How it works:**
* Each founder gets **2 minutes** to pitch their startup idea.
* After the pitch, the room gives **3–4 minutes of feedback -** what’s strong, what’s unclear, and what could be improved.
* The focus is on clarity, problem–solution fit, and founder story, not on investor jargon.
* Founders and companies present their own projects; participants are encouraged to suggest and invite other founders to join the lineup.
**What you’ll get:**
* Practice delivering a tight, compelling pitch.
* Honest, founder‑to‑founder feedback in a supportive environment.
* Networking time before and after the pitches to connect with other builders, potential co‑founders, and collaborators.
**Want to stay updated?**

Shorter Tegel loop, harbour, forest 13 km
Meeting point is **13:20 am** at **S Tegel (S25 arriving at 13:19)**.
*\*\*\*beep beep beep* Service information: Seems tomorrow the S25 has some Schienenersatzverkehr between Yorkstrasse and Gesundbrunnen,
[https://sbahn.berlin/en/](https://sbahn.berlin/en/)
Please take this into consideration for your arrival. S25 only goes every 20 min, that would be a bit long to wait for late arrivals...\*\*\*
We'll be heading west to Tegel harbour and do a loop in the forest until we're back at Tegel harbour.
HIGHLIGHTS:
* Tegel harbour, nice views
* Dunescape "Baumberge"
* some beaches (to remember for summer)
* most of the route is in the forest, a bit along the water
* at the beginning and/or end we'll say hello to the oldest tree of Berlin (just a few steps off our way)
[Komoot-Tour](https://www.komoot.com/tour/1774627975?share_token=arZU2ynhTIBkGmxtQORB4JLkLo1XNY8qj01ebbgQnPIthgwREp&ref=)
Depending on the composition of the group, it should take us around
3 h 30 min to 4 h (breaks included).
Please don't forget to bring enough food, water and clothes according to the weather forecast.
There is not much opportunity to buy something to eat or drink on the way. At the start (center of Tegel), there are numerous shops.
Please, please, please try to be on time. If not, please understand that I cannot make +10 people waiting idly. I can share my live location for those who are late, but for the sake of the group (and my nerves) cannot communicate much via chats after we start.
I'm not a professional guide and according to Meetup rules not liable for anyone's safety. We're all grown-ups, everyone should be able to take responsibility for themselves.
If you can't make it, please be respectful enough to update your confirmation of participation in a timely manner, to give those on the waiting list a fair chance to prepare.
See you!

Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease.
This walk is a simple reset.
We meet in Berlin’s Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment.
No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening.
If you want to slow down without withdrawing from life, join a Chitta Walk.
✨ **What to expect (approx. 90 minutes):**
* A short arrival and orientation
* A guided silent walk (phones off, no conversation)
* One concise science-based impulse on attention or stress
* Optional reflection in pairs or small groups
* A simple takeaway or experiment for daily life
🚶**Who this is for:**
* Professionals, creatives, and people in transition.
* People who feel mentally busy and want more clarity and balance.
* Those curious about mindfulness, but grounded and practical.
* Anyone comfortable with silence and gentle self observation.
🔔 **Practical notes:**
* Duration: 60-90 minutes
* Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing
* No prior experience needed
* Group size is limited to keep the space quiet and focused
🧭 **Facilitator:**
My name is Partha Sarathi, you can call me PS. I have lived in Berlin for over 12 years. With a background in physics and materials science, my interest in mindfulness grew through personal experience with stress and health challenges. I facilitate the space and structure of the walk, inviting shared exploration rather than instruction.
🤔 **Why Chitta Walks?**
Chitta is a Sanskrit word referring to the mind or field of awareness, used here in a practical, non-religious sense.
Chitta Walks is about noticing how the mind works by slowing down and walking together. Mindful walking makes thought patterns visible in real time, while moving and sensing in the world.
The name points to a simple capacity: noticing what is happening in the mind without immediately trying to fix, judge, or optimize it.
🌿 **Possible effects:**
A calmer nervous system.
Clearer attention.
A felt sense of being more present in your body.
Subtle insights into how your mind reacts under everyday conditions.
A quieter, more grounded way of moving through the city.
**Come as you are. Walk. Notice. Leave with a little more space inside.**
Productive Sunday Morning - Co-Working Session (Deep Work, all work welcome)
Hey everyone!
I’m organising a co-working + socialising session for all of us who like to work on something (e.g. our own project, freelance or remote work) but don't feel like sitting alone at home. 🙂
To ensure that we have both **socialising** AND **working**, we will be using the so called “Pomodoro” technique:
**50min of deep work** (silent), followed by **10min of break** to socialise. Then repeat! If you get into flow, you're also welcome to skip the breaks.
It’s an effective way to stay focused - you can read more about it [here](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique).
Anyone from any background is welcome, whatever project you are working on or whatever is your personal background.
I (the host) speak English and German, so either is fine :-)
——————————————————-
AGENDA:
* **15min Intro**
* Get to know everyone, talk about what you will work on today
* **Pomodoro Session** (3x) - *Each Pomodoro session consists* *of...*
* ...**50min** of uninterrupted “deep work” (no talking, no interruptions, no phones)
* ...**10min** of break: share your progress with others, talk about what you are stuck on etc.
* Repeat
* Conclude and celebrate your progress
Share your progress, socialise and get to know others 😊
————
We'll be at the Social Hub Berlin (they have a food menu in case you get hungry). The structured part will end at 2:30pm, but you're welcome to stay longer, go for lunch together, or leave earlier. See you there 🩵
**\*\*We'll reserve the long table. Please update your RSVP in advance if you can't attend!\*\***
Soundness Check Circle | Mental Health Support
Hi, I am Zoe, a software engineer by profession. I have been running this support group since a year 😇
What to expect in the circle:
\- The first 45 minutes we can spend to get coffee and settle down
\- On a volunteer basis\, each of the attendee will then get some time to share things that they are dealing with\, perhaps for 2\-5 minutes
\- You can skip sharing even if you are in a circle\, there's no force \(and there will never be\) on you to share\, staying silent and listening is completely ok
\- Attendees can recommend books or reading material if they like
