🍺 Agentic Coding Meetup — Devs & Drinks
🍺 Agentic Coding Meetup — Devs & Drinks
No slides. No speaker. No agenda. Just developers talking shop over a cold one. This is an informal gathering for engineers, founders, and builders who are deep in the agentic coding trenches — using tools like Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, OpenCode, or rolling their own agent pipelines. Come swap what's actually working, what blew up in production, and what you're excited about right now. We'll be at Barcelona, and the format is simple: show up, grab a drink, and share what you know. Bring a laptop if you want to show something, but it's not required. WhatsApp Group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/GVS0bHMPIzID3Ch9lt6YsU?mode=gi_t **What we talk about (but not limited to):** *Agentic coding workflows and tooling - Prompt engineering & context engineering in practice *Multi-agent architectures and orchestration - AI-native product building *What's broken in the ecosystem and how you're working around it **Who should come:** Developers, technical founders, and AI engineers who build with (or on top of) LLMs. All levels welcome — senior devs with war stories and curious beginners both make the conversation better. **Format:** Open conversation, round-table style. Everyone teaches, everyone learns.

Define the Right Product Scope - A 2-Hour Workshop
Define the Right Product Scope - A 2-Hour Workshop
**🎟 Get your tickets: [https://bit.ly/3PBQC85](https://bit.ly/3PBQC85)** **Overview** Product Building Series #2: A 2-Hr workshop to define the right scope for your product before building too many features + Networking **Description** Many digital products start with a clear idea. But as development begins, something quickly happens: More and more features appear. New ideas are added, requests accumulate, and the product grows in multiple directions. Before long, the product becomes harder to build, harder to understand, and harder for users to adopt. One of the most common challenges for founders and builders is deciding: **What should our product actually include?** In this practical workshop, we will explore how to define the right scope for your product and avoid the trap of building too much too early. You will learn a simple way to identify the core capabilities your product needs and distinguish them from secondary features. **What You’ll Learn** This workshop is part of the Product Building Series. Together, the three workshops provide a complete path from idea → product scope → product structure, helping you move from concept to a clear and scalable product. In this workshop we will explore: • Why many products become overloaded with features • The difference between features and product capabilities • How to identify the core capabilities of your product • How to reduce complexity and focus on what truly matters. Through practical examples, you will see how successful digital products focus on a small number of clear capabilities rather than trying to do everything at once. **What You’ll Leave With** Participants will leave with a Product Scope Canvas for their idea or product. By the end of the workshop you will have: ✔ A clearer definition of your product’s core capabilities ✔ A better understanding of which features are essential vs optional ✔ A structured Product Scope Canvas you can use to refine your product roadmap ✔ A practical framework to avoid feature overload as your product grows. **Who This Workshop Is For** This workshop is ideal for: • founders and startup builders • people working on a new app or SaaS idea • indie hackers and makers • early product teams defining what to build. No technical background is required. **Workshop Agenda (2 hours)** 1.Welcome & Introduction *Why defining product scope is one of the hardest parts of building digital products.* 2.Why Products Become Feature-Heavy *Common mistakes when defining product functionality.* 3.Features vs Capabilities *Understanding the difference and why it matters.* 4.Real Product Example *How successful products define a small set of core capabilities.* 5.Practical Exercise *Define the core capabilities of your own product using the Product Scope Canvas.* 6.Discussion & Insights *Participants share their discoveries and refine their product scope.* 7.Wrap-Up & Next Steps **What to Bring** Bring a product idea, app idea, or feature you are planning to build. You will work directly on it during the workshop. We kindly ask participants to arrive about 10 minutes earlier, as the workshop will start promptly at 18:30. **Format** - Interactive workshop - Small group discussion - Practical exercise After the workshop, participants are invited to continue the conversation during an informal **networking session** at Sisi Bar on the top floor, where we can share experiences and enjoy the beautiful views of Barcelona together. 🎟 **Get your tickets**: [https://bit.ly/3PBQC85](https://bit.ly/3PBQC85)

Claude Code back to basics
Claude Code back to basics
🎉 **Our First Event is Here!** We're thrilled to announce the very first Claude Code Barcelona meetup! 📅 April 15th \| Doors open at 6:00 PM\, kick off at 6:15 PM 📍 **[Harbour Space](https://harbour.space/)** — C/ Rosa Sensat, 9-11, Sant Martí, 08005 Barcelona A huge thank you to **Tatiana Boldyreva** and their company for hosting us, we couldn't have a better place to kick things off! 🙌 **Agenda** ➡️ 6:00 PM — Check-in 🏢 6:15 PM — Host company presentation 🚀 6:25 PM — Community kick off 🎤 6:40 PM — *Taming the Genie: What 6 months with Claude Code taught me about coding agent,* by Benjamin Tarenne 🎤 7:20 PM — *AI Mythbusters: Debunking LinkedIn BS,* by Maite Malavia 🤝 8:00 PM — Networking *** **🎙️Talks** **Taming the Genie: What 6 months with Claude Code taught me about coding agent,** AI coding assistants are powerful — but like a genie, they do exactly what you ask, not what you mean. In this talk I share what I've learned from 6 months using Claude Code in real projects: the failure modes nobody talks about (context collapse, token-burning spirals, silent over-reliance), my actual setup and CLAUDE.md, and the principles I now live by. *Benjamin Tarenne, Senior Full Stack Software Engineer building products for Allianz and Claude Code Barcelona community co-organizer.* **AI Mythbusters: Debunking LinkedIn BS** From "AI is going to replace all devs", "AI already thinks" and "AI learns from your chats", to "with a RAG, AI will never hallucinate again" or "APIs are dead, long live MCPs", in this talk we'll do something highly disruptive in the tech industry: revisit some AI basic concepts. We'll go through some of the most persistent myths about artificial intelligence with no doomsaying, no hype, a hint of embarrassment in some cases, and something very old school but effective: evidence. Warning - You might leave with fewer certainties than you came in with. That's exactly the point. *Maite Malavia, Solutions Architect & AI Consultant partner at Zenital and Claude Code Barcelona community co-organizer.* *** **What to expect** This community is being built around solid engineering practices, not vibe coding. We want to explore what it really means to do agentic coding well, and how Claude Code fits into a professional engineering workflow. We have prepared some content around the basics of agentic coding and AI to get the conversation started, but we'd love to hear from you too! 👉 **Interested in presenting something?** If you have a topic, use case, or experience related to Claude Code and engineering practices, we'd love to have you on stage. Drop a comment below or reach out directly! ⚠️ **Spots are limited to 40 people**. We recommend reserving your spot as soon as possible. If you’re unable to attend, please let us know in advance so we can release your seat. Don't miss it! 🎉

How to Structure Your Product So It Can Grow - A 2-Hour Workshop
How to Structure Your Product So It Can Grow - A 2-Hour Workshop
**🎟 Get Your Ticket: https://bit.ly/pixipap-product-structure** **Overview** From Idea to Product Series #3: A 2-Hour practical workshop to design a clear product structure and avoid future complexity **Description** As digital products grow, something almost always happens: Complexity increases. New features are added, capabilities overlap, and the product becomes harder to understand, maintain, and evolve. Many teams focus on building features but rarely stop to think about how the product should actually be structured. Without a clear structure, even great ideas can turn into products that are difficult to scale. In this practical workshop, we will explore how to design a clear structure for your product so it can grow without becoming unnecessarily complex. You will learn how to think in terms of product capabilities, domains, and structure, rather than isolated features. **What You’ll Learn** This workshop is part of the Product Building Series. Together, the three workshops provide a complete path from idea → product scope → product structure, helping you move from concept to a clear and scalable product. In this workshop we will explore: • Why product complexity appears as products grow • The difference between features and product capabilities • How to organize capabilities into a clear product structure • How good product structure helps teams scale and evolve their products. Through practical examples, you will see how successful digital products are structured around clear capabilities rather than a collection of disconnected features. **What You’ll Leave With** Participants will create a Product Capability Map for their product idea or existing product. By the end of the workshop you will have: ✔ A clearer understanding of your product’s core capabilities ✔ A simple Product Capability Map for your product ✔ A better structure for organizing future features ✔ A practical way to reduce complexity as your product grows. **Who This Workshop Is For** This workshop is ideal for: • founders and startup builders • people building new apps or SaaS products • indie hackers and makers • product teams designing new functionality. No technical background is required. **Workshop Agenda (2 hours)** 1.Welcome & Introduction Why product complexity appears as digital products grow. 2.Why Features Alone Don’t Scale Understanding the limitations of feature-based thinking. 3.Product Capabilities & Structure How successful products organize capabilities and domains. 4.Real Product Example A breakdown of how a real product is structured. 5.Practical Exercise Create a Product Capability Map for your own product. 6.Discussion & Insights Participants refine their product structure. 7.Wrap-Up & Next Steps **What to Bring** Bring a product idea, app idea, or product you are currently building. You will apply the framework directly to your product during the workshop. 🎟 **Get Your Ticket:** https://bit.ly/pixipap-product-structure

Through dialogue, reflection, and shared inquiry, we’ll explore questions such as: \* What challenges do we face when creating work that truly matters to us? \* How might meaningful work unlock human potential and contribute to a regenerative economy? \* What is the “more beautiful world” we each feel called toward? \* How do our personal stories and lived experiences shape the contribution we’re here to make? \* What holds us back from stepping into that contribution? \* How can we navigate uncertainty with greater courage, trust, and clarity? This is a space to listen deeply, to ourselves, to each other, and to something greater that wants to emerge through us. Facilitated by Sunil, Career Coach and founder of [Free Your Flow](%5Bhttps://freeyourflow.org%5D(https://freeyourflow.org)). This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise. We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration. Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team. **YouTube Link** TBD

The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter. This is the follow-up. Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered — and honestly explore what’s actually happening now. Together, we’ll explore: • What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in • What’s surprised you, supported you, or shifted • What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote — your word, your artifact, your intention. We’ll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. You’ll start where we all started: with what’s true right now. Optional art materials will be available for anyone who wants to reflect creatively alongside conversation. If you brought something home from January, you’re warmly invited to bring it back. The intention is the same as always: everyone leaves feeling more clear, more connected, and a little lighter. Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate. What to Expect • A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup) • Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak • Reflection, listening, and lived experience — not advice-giving • Optional creative reflection alongside conversation • A calm, supportive environment Who This Is For Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change — especially those looking for honest conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords. Good to Know • No preparation required • If you attended in January, we invite you to bring anything you created or wrote (or something that represents your intention at the start of the year) - it’s optional but invited • Participation is invitational; listening is always welcome • Creative activities are optional
HTML5 Master Series (Class 03 of 04) (SPECIAL OFFERING)
HTML5 Master Series (Class 03 of 04) (SPECIAL OFFERING)
**PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT NOTES:** 1. The dates listed for this series are about 95% reliable. We are completing our 2026 schedule as we speak, so minor adjustments are still occurring. 2. Each class in this series has an attendance fee, though this first offering is free on a first-come, first-served basis. 3. Each class, from BOTH a sign-up and fee perspective, is a separate entity. **Introduction:** HTML5 is the foundational technology for modern web development, serving as the standard markup language for structuring and presenting content on the World Wide Web. Developed through a collaboration between the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Web Hypertext Application Technology Working Group (WHATWG), HTML5 provides a robust system of elements (tags) that tell a browser how to display text, images, and multimedia in a clear and meaningful way. It works in concert with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for presentation and JavaScript for interactivity, forming the core technology stack for virtually all websites and many web applications today. One of the significant advancements of HTML5 is the introduction of powerful new features and elements designed to improve functionality and simplify development. Key additions include native multimedia support via the \ and \ tags, allowing developers to embed media without third-party plugins. It also offers new form controls for better user input, such as date and email types, and introduces web storage capabilities to store data offline for enhanced performance. These features streamline the process of building rich, interactive web experiences. A significant focus of HTML5 is enhanced semantics and better structural organization of content. New semantic elements like , , , , and \ provide meaningful structure to documents, which aids in search engine optimization (SEO) and improves accessibility for assistive technologies. These elements define different parts of a webpage (e.g., a header for the top, a nav for navigation links, a footer for the bottom), making the code more readable and understandable for both developers and machines. This emphasis on clear structure helps in creating more logical and maintainable websites. Developing websites in today's competitive environment requires taking advantage of every technique you can to get the maximum exposure possible. Our HTML5 class will not only show you what's new in the HTML specification, but also the best way to develop optimized web pages that get the attention your client and/or company requires. **The breakdown of the four-class series is as follows:** **Class 1: Introduction to Web Structure and Basic HTML5** This class introduces the core concepts of web development, the history of HTML, and the fundamental structure of an HTML5 document. * **Topics**: * **Web Architecture Overview**: How browsers, servers, and web pages interact. * **HTML Fundamentals**: Understanding elements, tags, and attributes. * **Basic Document Structure**: Using !DOCTYPE html, html, head, and body. * **Text Formatting**: Headings (h1 to h6), paragraphs (p), and text-level semantics (e.g., strong, em, br). * **Lists and Links**: Creating ordered (ol) and unordered (ul) lists, and linking between pages using anchor tags (a). * **Activity**: Students create a basic personal webpage containing text, a list of hobbies, and a link to an external website. **Class 2: Semantic HTML5 and Multimedia Integration** Class 2 focuses on modern HTML5 elements that provide meaning (semantics) to content, improving accessibility and search engine optimization. It also covers adding images and multimedia. * **Topics**: * **Semantic Elements**: Understanding and implementing elements like header, footer, nav, section, and article. * **Images**: Adding images using the img tag and attributes like src, alt, width, and height. * **Multimedia**: Embedding audio and video content using the audio and video tags. * **File and Folder Structure**: Best practices for organizing project files and managing file paths. * **Activity**: Students refactor their Class 1 project to use a proper semantic layout and add an image and a link to a video file. **Class 3: Forms and User Input** This session is dedicated to building interactive HTML5 forms, which are essential for capturing user data and input. * **Topics**: * **Form Basics**: Using the form element, action and method attributes. * **Input Types**: Exploring various input types (e.g., text, password, checkbox, radio, date, submit). * **Form Elements**: Utilizing label, textarea, select, option, and button. * **Client-side Validation**: Implementing HTML5 validation attributes like required, minlength, and pattern. * **Activity**: Students build a complete contact form with different input fields, radio buttons, and basic HTML5 validation. **Class 4: Introduction to CSS3 and Basic Styling** The final class introduces Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to style the HTML content and make the web pages visually appealing and accessible. * **Topics**: * **CSS Fundamentals**: The role of CSS, selectors, properties, and values. * **Integrating CSS**: Using inline, internal, and external style sheets. * **The Box Model**: Understanding margin, padding, border, and content for basic layout. * **Basic Styling**: Changing colors, fonts, and text alignment. * **Accessibility Basics**: Identifying principles of web design usability and accessibility, including ARIA labels. * **Activity**: Students apply an external CSS file to their Class 3 form project to style the layout, colors, and fonts, culminating in a well-structured and styled webpage.
