**Day 1: Al Quaa aka the “Milky Way spot” - Stargazing, BBQ, games, telescope & camp** We will leave Dubai at 1 pm and head on a beautiful 2-3 hours road trip to Al Quaa, a secluded Abu Dhabi spot that offers out-of-this-world views of a sky full of stars. We will then enjoy stargazing at the darkest place in the UAE with stellar views of the galaxy, constellations, planets and shooting starts. We will then have the usual best bbq in town, drinks, card games, music, have some melting marshmallows on camp fire and camp under the clear skies full of stars. **Day 2: Sunrise, Bites, and Back to the City** In the morning, we will take a morning walk and watch the sunrise over the dunes. We will then return to camp for breakfast. Once we have finished breakfast and packing, we will leave for Dubai. *Note: Timings might shift a little with sunrise and sunset. **Trip**: Free - Geo Hike - Ain Sheria and Beach Camping **When**: Saturday 7 Mar 2026 6:30 to 11:00 AM **Where**: Fujairah **Difficulty Level**: Moderate Only for adult hikers. **Trip Details**: Let’s start our weekend with an early-morning hike through the mountains of Fujairah, featuring the stunning Colorful Rocky Mountains. Participants will depart from Dubai around 5:00 AM and reach the hiking start point approximately 1.5 hours later. The hike itself is expected to take 4–5 hours, with everyone back at the cars by around 11:00 AM. **Plan**: · Leave Dubai early morning and reach the meeting point just after Sunrise. · Park the cars at the meeting point and start the hike after a brief by our hike leaders · Hike is expected to take about 4-5 hours and we reach back to the cars by 11.00 am or so and drive back home. **Preparation:** 1. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association: They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Come to play and showcase your games. We're back in the upper levels of the catwalk mezzanine area. It'll be packed with lots of camaraderie playing your game(s) and other's games on the 2nd floor as well as the 1st floor in the gaming room below the mezzanine.
