Hiking Fun
Hiking Fun
Irány Hűvösvölgy! The weather finally seems to be on our side, so we’re excited to organise our long-awaited Kerek Perec hike! 🌿 We’ll meet at the last stop of tram 56/61 on Sunday and take a relaxed circular walk in the Buda hills. Although the event is three hours long we won’t be hiking the entire time; we’ve prepared lots of games and activities so we’ll be taking frequent breaks to practise Hungarian. Along the way, you’ll pick up useful vocabulary related to nature and hiking, hear about a couple of famous Hungarian hikers, and work together in different group competitions. You’re very welcome to join regardless of your Hungarian (and fitness) level — we’ll have activities adapted for beginners (A1), elementary (A2), and intermediate (B1) learners. You can buy your ticket here: https://cooltix.hu/event/69dcd42f25f6c22392a700e6 Facebook event: https://fb.me/e/6MyDh220B PSA: the dog in the pictures won’t be joining us this time — he tends to demand a bit too much attention :)
Beginner/Starter Guitar Class
Beginner/Starter Guitar Class
Come and join us for a **Free Guitar Learning Class**! **General description of the class:** Our class is all about beginning stages: playing chords, tabs, holding guitar properly and getting the fingers ready to play. We will have enough time to cover the basics, discuss what we would like to improve and get playing at least one simple song! I also speak Hungarian, so if there is anyone who doesn’t understand English, I will translate on the go. Any newcomers are welcome and I will help you to get started and develop together with others. **What to bring:** A pen and notebook, so you can take notes as needed. Guitar (if you don't have one, you can use mine during the class, but definitely you should get a guitar later if you want to learn guitar properly). This event is totally **free of charge**, but you are welcome to donate, which helps me, the organizer, to cover the bills. Feel free to **bring your friends**. We have enough space! **I recommend joining our Telegram channel** to get notified about announcements or any cancellations: https://t.me/budapestGuitarClub

Observability, Testing, and Trust for Agentic AI with MLflow
Observability, Testing, and Trust for Agentic AI with MLflow
**REGISTER AT THE LUMA EVENT PAGE!!!** https://luma.com/2e6rhzjo **Agenda:** 6:00 - 6:30 PM - Welcome and mingle 6:30- 6:45 PM - Introductions 6:45 - 7:30 PM - Talk 7:30 - 8:00 PM - Wrap up **Description:** IAI coding agents can now scaffold entire applications from a single prompt. But for mission-critical systems that require compliance, reliability, and auditability, "it works on my machine" isn't enough. When your agent makes fifty tool calls, rewrites three files, and confidently hallucinates a security vulnerability, how do you even begin to debug that? This talk introduces a practical, open-source toolkit for injecting observability, control, and systematic testing into agentic AI development. Using MLflow's tracing and evaluation framework, we'll follow a single throughline: building an AI agent with a coding assistant (Claude Code), tracing both the assistant's work **and** the agent it produces, then evaluating quality with LLM judges - closing the loop from development through production monitoring. You'll walk away with a concrete workflow for turning the black box of agentic coding into something you can inspect, measure, and trust. No vendor lock-in required. **Speaker Bio:** Tim Lortz is an AI Product Specialist at Databricks, where he has worked since 2019. He currently serves as the technical lead for Databricks' go-to-market efforts for AI in regulated industries, focusing particularly on enterprise-grade governance for AI platforms. Prior to Databricks, Tim spent many years in various data science practitioner and leadership roles in the Federal contracting space. He holds a PhD in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!!) and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
