Are you interested in know what your local VFW post does and how we operate? This is your chance to find out. Our monthly meetings are where we look at what's happening in the near future for ourselves and other veterans in the area. This is also a great time to share ideas and give input about how VFW 3150 operates. You must be a VFW member to attend this meeting. If you are not a member feel free to show up before the meeting with your proof of service. We can sign you up and get you started on your way to a fulfilling VFW membership. If you are already a VFW member but not a member of 3150 you are still able and welcome to attend these meetings. The only thing you will not be able to do is vote on issues. VFW 3150 is working hard to be the best at helping active duty, veterans, and their families. We sincerely hope you can be part of that as well. Thank you.

Loop the Lakes (LTL) - Ride is through biking trails around both Mercer and Burke Lakes with dirt, gravel, & paved surfaces. There are some hills on this ride. Let's find our happy place, on the dance floor! Every Monday night. Swing dancing is a HUGE scene in this area! With ton's of live bands and dance opportunities every week! (Especially with Summer coming up on us!) so lets jump in and have some fun! New 8 week beginner lessons kick off TONIGHT! (5/4), 7pm at Colvin Run Dance Hall just off Route 7 in Great Falls. (between Tysons and Reston) These are super fun classes and no partner is needed. It's also inexpensive compared to dance studios! Registration is on the Gottaswing website. **NoVES Philosophy Discussion Series: Right and Wrong** To restart NoVES' Philosophy Discussion Series we thought we would choose a topic that is fundamental to philosophy, determining right from wrong. This discussion will look at the thinking that determines right and wrong actions and the values and assumptions underlying these decisions.

Attendance is $35 (cash, credit/debit card, or ApplePay - paid at the door), which includes water/soda/coffee, bread, choice of a plated lunch entrée, and a dessert assortment. Parking is also validated in the Reston Station garages (3 hours of validation). Join one of Northern Virginia's most successful business networking groups (part of BNI).
