Join us for our regular and casual Friday evening, on playing Padel. We reserve our right to adapt the setup according to the audience level, vibe, health, weather, shape etc SETUP ● 2 courts (2 vs 2), 1 team is rotating or taking a rest court 1: minim 6 players court 2: minim 4 players ● 2 courts - 10-12 people (more players, we make small teams and play shorts, all combination; the hosts have the last word. proposals are welcome) ● The event organisers or experienced player are entitled to send players on the second court ● We are respectfull and warm with each other, our cultural and professional background is diverse. ● New proposals are welcome :). Sometimes we adapt. ● The host toghether with the regular players, can ask new or misbehaved players to step out from the court, in order to maintain the good vibes Price to pay (in cash) (Aprox, for this season, could vary with 1-2 euros) ■ 10 euros for 1h ■ 17 euros for 2h ■ If you need a racket, you can rent it from us for 2 € (if available). Otherwise you can always rent from the venue for 5 €. ■ Cancelation 4-6h, ahead or you pay 10 euros the fee for 1h ● We use the monney to cover the courts rent & subscription for renting, smaller hostings or welcome expenses Important ● New commers, intermediate, out of shape, friendly players are playing on their own risk. Our goal is to ensure that every writer—regardless of genre or skill level—has access to the resources, community, and accountability that they need to be successful in their personal writing goals." And what this looks like at our event: We chat and give short introductions to what we are working on at 18:00, then start writing at 18:15. Though we try to start on dot, being late isn't a problem—just find a spot and get to work! We write until 20:00 and then discuss how our writing went. From fiction to non-fiction, academic papers to poetry, applications to work-related writing—anything goes! Nothing is needed except for you to bring whatever is need to get stuff done, i.e. laptop, headphones, pen and paper, and so on. Optional socialising may happen before 18:00 and after 20:00, or you may choose to use this time to get some more done! There’s no strict theme for this gathering. You can come with a special idea, or simply experiment and see where the process takes you. The Alliance is part of the Greater Central Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We are an all-voices chorus dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all those who love to sing, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or musical background. The Alliance is the first and only all-voices barbershop chorus in Central Ohio. **Who:** Anyone with a passion for singing at a high level. This year's Eurovision Song Contest is being held in Vienna, Austria, and the finals are scheduled for 16 May 2026. The [Scandinavian Club of Columbus](https://www.scandiclub.com/) will be co-hosting a viewing party for the final event in conjunction with Germania and the [Columbus Maennerchor](https://www.maennerchor.com/). The delayed televised viewing will take place at the Germania. The program will start around 2:00 p.m. and the singing will **start around 3:00 p.m**. There will be a **cash bar**, and those in attendance can **bring food or snacks** for themselves and or to share with the groups. **Suggested donation: $10/person** to help cover the cost of the venue.
