I propose a game of Lost Ruins of Arnak. In the year 19XX, a mysterious island has been discovered. Teams of explorers engage into a race to be the first to decipher the remains of the lost civilisation which inhabited the island. LROA is a game of deck building and worker placement. Across 5 moon phases (5 game rounds), you must balance your turns between gathering resources and spending them to progress through the island and the study of its ruins. All expansions will be available, which does not add much complexity to the base game. We will likely play one of the boards of the last expansion (spider or owl temple).

In Underwater Cities, which takes about 30-45 minutes per player, players represent the most powerful brains in the world, brains nominated due to the overpopulation of Earth to establish the best and most livable underwater areas possible. Depending on player's experience with the game we will play one or two expansions (Discoveries and Data Era).

The film stars Wagner Moura, Carlos Francisco, Tânia Maria, Robério Diógenes, Maria Fernanda Cândido, Gabriel Leone and Udo Kier in his final film role. The film is receiving an incredible 99% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes where critics say, its “compelling script, impeccable acting, and striking 1970s aesthetic” make it “impossible to look away!” Critics say The Secret Agent is “one of the few standout movies of the year” and the Chicago Tribune calls it a “masterpiece of a film” and “the best film of the year!” PARKING: Close, convenient parking is available in the nearby garage (located between 9th and 11th, just off High St). Bring your ticket with you and have it validated at the theater and for $2, you’re covered for the night!
