## Fairway Friends Opening Round – Herndon Centennial Join us for the **first Fairway Friends – NoVA meetup round** at **Herndon Centennial Golf Course**. Fairway Friends is a relaxed golf group for **gay and bi men over 40 in Northern Virginia and the DMV** who enjoy playing golf, meeting good people, and getting outside during the week. For our opening meetup we’ll play **18 holes** and get to know each other on the course. This isn’t a golf instruction group — just a group of guys who enjoy the game and good company. All skill levels are welcome! The goal is simple: play golf, meet like-minded guys, and build a small group that enjoys getting together regularly. **Course:** Herndon Centennial Golf Course **Format:** 18 holes **Tee Time:** Around 8:30–9:00 AM (final time will be posted once we see how many are playing) If you're interested, RSVP and we’ll coordinate tee times as we get closer to the date. Already have a skill you want to contribute to a Kaggle Datascience competition? We will work on these too! Laptop required :)

To support our local animals, please bring a pet food donation and you’ll be entered into a raffle for free tastings and glasses! You can also purchase raffle tickets. Your monetary donations help cover much-needed medical expenses for homeless and at-risk animals. This event will be 5-8pm on the last Friday of every month at the October One Vineyard tasting shop in Downtown Leesburg. This event is free to the public, so stop by and raise a glass. HSLC will be on hand to answer questions and let you know about available animals. Let’s “cheer” up our local area animals in need!
