Bhakti/Prayer and Sunday Feast at Zurich Krishna Temple – Visit from St. Gallen
Join us for a peaceful and uplifting Sunday afternoon at the Zurich Krishna Temple’s traditional Sunday Feast 🌸
Every Sunday, the temple hosts a vibrant cultural and spiritual gathering featuring mantra meditation, devotional music, wisdom talks, and a generous vegetarian/vegan feast. It’s a beautiful opportunity to experience Bhakti-yoga culture, connect with like-minded people, and enjoy a warm community atmosphere.
Our Plan
We’ll meet at St. Gallen train station at 11.0am and leave together by taking the 11.07am Train to Zurich. From Zurich station, we’ll walk as a group to the temple but you can also take public transport if you prefer that and then we can rejoin at the temple. They also serve lunch for everyone from 1-2pm which we plan to join as well.
About the Sunday Feast
The program typically includes:
• Mantra singing & bhajans (devotional music)
• Spiritual lecture & discussion
• Traditional temple ceremony
• Guided meditation
• Large vegetarian/vegan buffet feast
The festival begins at the temple from 3:00 PM and continues into the evening.
📍 Location: Krishna Temple Zurich
Bergstrasse 54, 8032 Zürich
Who should come?
Everyone is welcome (irrespective of religious/spiritual background) — whether you’re curious about Bhakti yoga philosophy or simply want to enjoy meaningful community time and great food.
Disclaimer
This Meetup is a casual group visit. We are not the organisers of the Sunday Feast — the event itself is hosted by the Zurich Krishna Temple. We’re simply attending together as a group from St. Gallen.
Feel free to bring friends, comfortable walking shoes, and an open mind

**Join the Zürich Coffee Club and make new friends!**
Each meetup brings together 4–6 people for casual conversations over coffee. We use the Groupvibe platform to facilitate the meetup and ensure everyone’s a good fit.
👉 **To attend, you’ll need to complete registration via this link:**

We’ll share the exact location of the upcoming meetup the night before only if you have bought a ticket or membership plan.
**Why this works:**
\* Smaller groups make real conversations easier.
\* Discover new cafes in your city, together.
\* Curated cafes with good coffee and vibe.
\* If you hit it off with your group, there’s plenty of time to hang out afterwards.
**Note:**
RSVPs on Meetup don’t reflect total attendance. Many attendees register directly via our website. The event on [Meetup.com](http://meetup.com/) is only a placeholder.
This meetup is organized by Groupvibe, a small team passionate about helping people form meaningful friendships offline.
Chill, Swim & Plan Our Next Hike! ☀️🏊♂️
Very few people have signed up for my recent meetups. Because of that, I’m going to host a very simple meetup this time: sitting at Oberer Letten and planning our next hiking experience for June.
Bring your swimwear, maybe it will be warm enough to swim. The goal of this meetup is to have an event where we definitely get a few people together, which I can publish, and where everyone has fun. And of course: good conversations and sunshine!

Women Who Wonder
**Women Who Wonder — Intergenerational Women's Circle**
**The topic of this circle is cycles**. Every woman has experience with different kinds of cycles. As a gynaecologist I have accompanied many women through them and I know how much they vary.
**Why we need an intergenerational women's circle**
Since the industrialisation of the 19th century, we have been segregated into age groups since kindergarten. This disconnect between generations costs us well-being, resilience, and even years of our lives. Women Who Wonder brings back the receptive, responsive relationships between generations.
We sit together in a circle for 90 minutes, not to advise but to share, listen to and witness each other. Each participant speaks without interruption and can ask for the kind of response she would like, or silent appreciation. Being witnessed this way creates a tangible, lifting energy.
**About the topic: women and cycles**
Whether it is the year, the moon, the menstrual cycle, or our life's cycle, our rhythms are attuned to the natural rhythm, or maybe not. Cycles can be an orientation, a reason for joy or suffering, and all experiences are welcome.
**How it works**
Every participant shares what she likes to. We pass an hourglass as our talking piece. To create a safe and confidential space, every attendee signs our circle agreements on arrival. In short: we don't interrupt, we are non-judgemental, we don't fix, and we don't sell services. What is shared in the circle stays in the circle.
**About me**
My name is Barbara, Dr. Barbara Kleeb, I'm a coach, healer, gynaecologist and obstetrician with experience from birth to consultation, from hormones to operation. I am interested in many things, have written and recorded songs and created an online networking event for polymaths that lights people up. I feel that it is time for women to support each other, to learn with and from each other across generations.
**Practical details**
This meeting costs 50 francs. You can pay in cash on arrival. Students and AHV with card 30 francs. Sponsorships available on request, send me a message. Places are limited to 20 women.
The circle is held in Swiss German and English.
**Where and when**
**Seeburg Park Zürich**, 8008 Zürich.
Date: **Friday, 29 May, 5:00–6:30 pm**
**How to find it**
You can enter Seeburg Park Zürich either from Zollikerstrasse, Bus 33, Botanischer Garten, or from Feldeggstrasse, Tram 11 and 15, walk up Feldeggstrasse, turn right at Mühlebachstrasse, and find the park entrance and spot us in the park.
Take whatever makes sense for you to sit, a towel, a cushion, or a folding chair (I will sit on a chair).
**When it's truly heard, your story becomes wisdom**

Zurich Kundalini Yoga/Meditation (Donation Basis)
Dear All,
This session is mainly for the people who want to learn kundalini yoga/meditation in a traditional way. Traditionally the master will transfer his/her kundalini energy to the student to activate his important chakras (energy centre) including Third Eye and Crown Chakra. The student can start to feel his/her Kundalini Energy is rising from their base of the spine and feeling the energy vibration(Consciousness) in the third eye (the space between the eyebrows) from the Kundalini Activation. This session is helpful for the beginners who want to learn simple yoga-meditation exercises also.
This is a general session to experience your inner kundalini energy. But if you need proper kundalini activation(Shaktipat), then pre-registration is mandatory.
**What is included in this session?**
Simple stretching practices for Hip and Spine (not complicated, even beginners can do)
Kundalini Breathing Techniques
Sound Energy (Mantra) Meditation
Energy Healing Techniques
Formal Kundalini Activation (optional and only for pre-registered people)
Chakra Meditation
Yoga Nidra (Relaxation)
**Some of the benefits of Kundalini Energy Activation are:**
Keeps the body healthy
Mind attains its natural peaceful state, so the meditation becomes easy.
Breathing pattern will be harmonized
Stress release and peace
Clear & sharp intellect
More intuition
Inner happiness
Clairvoyance and Clairvision
and to the ultimate SELF realization (which will lead to the blissful state - our true state) with enough years of practise
**DONATION BASIS**
**About the Teacher who conducts this session:**
The kundalini wisdom teacher Jayaprakash is practising kundalini yoga since 2005 under the guidance of Self Realized Indian Master "GuruMahan". He is teaching kundalini yoga since 2008 as part of a non-profit organization "Maha Shakthi Yogam Switzerland". He teaches Yoga/Meditation/Pranic Healing/Stress Relief courses in various places of Germany and Switzerland. He is the authorized kundalini yoga wisdom teacher from UPF(India) to give kundalini initiations (Shaktipat) with the Grace and Protection of his Master.
All these events are conducted for non-profit purpose. Donations are collected on behalf of Swiss non-profit organization (Verein) "Maha Shakthi Yogam - Switzerland"
**Eligibility:**
Anyone can attend the session even if they don't have previous yoga/Meditation experiences.
**Dress:**
Wear a comfortable dress if possible yoga dress. We provide the yoga mat.
**Please RSVP only you are really interested and coming ! Limited Seats !**
**About Kundalini Shaktipat:**
In every human being there is a source of natural energy that the yogis call the kundalini. In order to evolve in the yogic path, no matter what our path, the kundalini must be active.
For most of us, the kundalini lies dormant at the bottom of the spine in the base chakra known as the Muladhar. When it awakens, it ascends through the chakras until it reaches the highest chakra, the Sahasrar. When that occurs, we merge with our True Self and attain SELF realization (our true nature).
Shaktipat is the transfer of spiritual energy from the teacher to the student in order to awaken the kundalini. This process is compared to lighting one candle with another that is already lit and glowing. When the teacher is connected with the fully realized master and the energy is completely within his or her control, shaktipat initiation ensures that the student’s energy will remain active and stable. "Electricity is present everywhere, but there can be light only when the switch is turned on. Similarly the true master manifests the consciousness in the disciple through shaktipat.”
**HAPPINESS is our TRUE Nature, which comes from within not from outside !**

Jules and Jim, the Book!
By popular demand, the group wanted to read and discuss the semi-autobiographical novel by Henri-Pierre Roche, that inspired the Truffaut movie we watched last year.
The book is available through the Columbus Library's interlibrary loan system. They reported there are twenty-eight copies available in the state of Ohio. If you have a library card, you can file an interlibrary loan request here: https://www.columbuslibrary.org/library-services/ . There are also used copies available on Amazon and eBay for under twenty dollars.
You may want to rewatch the movie after reading the book, so we can compare and contrast in our discussion. The Columbus Library has four copies on DVD, and it's streaming on HBOMax.
