These include, creating an atmosphere free of judgement, saying 'yes', active listening, being positive, putting your focus on others, and the importance of play and laughter. Not coincidentally, these are the same things that happen to us naturally when we are bonding with another person. In this class, we'll explore these techniques not with the goal of being funny, but with the goal of being people that other people want to be around. The teacher, Ralph MacLeod, is a co-founder of two independent improv clubs in Toronto - Bad Dog Theatre and Social Capital Theatre. He's been teaching improv for over 30 years. He also teaches these same techniques to several organizations including UofT, Google, Kraft, Shopify and many, many more. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have! Keep conversations lighthearted and professional to foster a creative and welcoming environment. * Photoshoot Session: Each workshop runs for 3 hours, with participants working one-on-one with the model across 4-5 different sets. The goal is to capture a few standout images from each setup that you can proudly showcase on your website and social media. * Model Release: A non-commercial model release, signed by the model, will be provided to each photographer. Photos and videos taken during the workshop can be used for personal promotional purposes only, including portfolios, websites, and print media such as postcards. * Please note that behind-the-scenes (BTS) content may be captured by individuals, the model, MUA, or the event host. If you prefer not to be recorded, kindly inform everyone before the event begins. **Cancellation Policy** Cancellations are accepted 7-14 days before the workshop (depending on the event) for a full refund.
