Join us as we combine healthy, balanced movement with fun, gamified ideas to give you our unique FUNctional training! And in case that doesn’t really tell you what to expect, just think short intervals of exercise combined together in a playful and interactive way to help you strengthen your body in a sustainable way while allowing you to meet new people (and often even forget how hard you’re working out).
As a reminder for those nervous about their fitness level: Everything we do, we do with all fitness levels in mind; so the exercises are always adjustable to your level and you’re always strongly encouraged to take it at your own pace - I mean, we’re not called My Pace for nothing!

Cost: In the interest of inclusivity, we've decided to make our sessions donations based here, so you're invited to pay what you can afford. If that actually makes you more uncomfortable and doesn't make it easier to come, know that we've received donations from €2 to €20 and they all made us very happy, because our primary goal is to get people moving and to show them it can be fun all in all. The money is secondary.
One other thing that’s useful to know:
- In the case of bad weather, we do have a back-up location that will protect us from the rain. Should we need to move, we will change the location of this event here. Vienna Gaels Training: Football, Hurling & Camogie
This is a weekly training session with Vienna Gaels, a Vienna-based Irish GAA club playing Gaelic football and hurling. The session is relaxed, structured, and welcoming, with coaching provided throughout.
Agenda
• Arrive from 5:45 and meet the group
• Warm-up as a full group
• One hour of Gaelic football training and one hour of hurling training
• The order alternates each week
• Wrap-up shortly before 8:00 pm
Who it’s for
• All levels are welcome
• New players are encouraged
• No previous experience of Gaelic sports is needed
• Men’s and ladies teams train on the same night
What to bring
• Sportswear suitable for outdoor training
• Football boots or trainers (astro or moulded studs work best)

No equipment is required to try your first session. We can provide hurleys and helmets if needed.

Training takes place on the pitches beside the Ernst Happel Stadium.
If you arrive and don’t immediately see the group, wait by the pitches and someone will come over to you.

There's something about tango that gets under your skin.
You watched it, or tried it once, and something in you probably felt really good. Because tango is connetion in the present moment.
Tango Fundamentals 1 is a structured 6-week course designed to take your tango journey through the basic steps and figures of Argentine tango. This is not just about copying moves - but rather actually understanding how tango works. The connection, the lead and follow, the conversation between two people through movement.
By the end of these six weeks, you'll understand the basic concepts of tango, the etiquette of milongas, how to invite someone to dance - and you'll actually be able to dance.

Short gravel bike tour through Lobau and beyond
We start our tour at the **northern end of the Steinspornbrücke**, an ideal starting point for exploring the Lobau.
**Route and terrain:**
The tour takes us through the beautiful nature of the Lobau, part of the Nationalparks Donau-Auen as well multiple farmfields in the south-western Marchfeld. The terrain consists of **90% gravel and crushed stone paths**, which vary in thickness. It is therefore important that your bike is suitable for such conditions (e.g., **gravel or mountain bike**). The route is very flat.
**Length and pace:**
The total distance is approximately **35 km**. We will ride at an **average minimum speed of 21-23 km/h**, which is a moderate pace for experienced cyclists. Please only participate if you feel fit enough to do so!
**Sun exposure and breaks:**
A major advantage of this tour is that **70%** of it is in the **shadow**, which is particularly pleasant on warm days. About halfway through the route, we have the opportunity to **refuel our water bottles** at the **Radlertreff Hermi**.

Mixed indoor volleyball. We play intermediate and advanced levels in a friendly and respectful environment. We play for fun. Please note that the number of participants is important, so if you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking 48 hours in advance so that others can join. Failure to do so will result in your exclusion from future matches and you will be required to pay the match fee. Please bring the €10 participation fee in cash. Thank you for your understanding.

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls;
We play Tuesday Night Football (outdoor only) . We play 90 minutes (kick off is at 20:30, and we meet at least 15 minutes before for a warm up phase). Post-Corona football matches are most likely between 14-16 and 28-32 players. If you would like to join please bring artificial turf shoes (like the ones for indoor turf) and shin pads (not mandatory but definitely recommendable). Whether you’re a walker, new to running, a semi-pro, a marathonist or a sprint star - if you want to start your weekend in an active way and enjoy the outdoors in lovely surroundings with a fun, international and multilingual group of people, you are welcome to join us!
Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we meet, we run, in the magnificent Schönbrunn park, and then we go for breakfast.
Want to discuss politics or the best recipes for banana pancakes? Not a problem. Not feeling social? Tune out with your earbuds - we can talk over breakfast. We are casual. You can be too.
What to expect: Start by meeting Adrian, Ali, Liz, Paul and Sonia on-time at 9:30am outside the Schönbrunn U-Bahn stop (exit Grünbergstraße). (Coordinates: 48.1858130, 16.3200640) From there, we walk to the side park entrance where the “running” part begins. The important thing is that you run at your own pace. Typically, small groups of people will run at the same pace as you, so you never have to walk/run alone :)
We finish one hour later, at about 10:40am, reconvening just inside the Hietzinger Tor exit. (Coordinates: 48.1858825, 16.3032647). From there, we’re off to breakfast!
Breakfast Details: Anker bakery opposite the U4 Hietzing station and depending on the weather, grab something for a picnic in Schönbrunn park, or hang out in the bakery. If you missed us earlier, you can always go there around 10:45.
We are a fun group of runners who don’t take things too seriously. We meet, chat, RUN, stretch, chat, EAT and we hang out over a beer every now and then. It's that easy. Please join us for breakfast after the run! The more the merrier.
Typically we are 10-30 people, as not everyone who comes signs up on meetup.

Hiking about 4 miles completing the blendon woods loop and the sugarbush trail .
Wear appropriate footwear and bring water for hydration .
Sharon Woods Hike
Join us for a full three mile hike this Thursday (6/11) at 6:30 pm at Sharon Woods Metro Park. This scenic hike includes dirt trails (with hills) through the woods, grass trails through the meadows and paved trails along the pond. Please be able to hike at least at a moderate pace so that the group doesn’t have to wait for you often. We don’t want to lose you!
