Sports Chanbara Regular Class (Thursday) Sports chanbara is a free-style Japanese combat sport, which originated from Kodachi Goshindo (Self-defense with a short sword). 2 hrs session for adv beginners who can rally and serve basically to enjoy hitting fun, practicing and improve game sense. The players will team up to play double by rotations after 15\~20 mins warm up. HK80/P, including court fee and new or half new balls to be provided for hitting. For newly join player, pls whatsapp me, 64304812 to ensure a good communication for event details. Regularly join players have priority and host reserve a right to adjust the player list. The players having no show record or bad attitude in event, who will not welcome to event.

We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. Younkin Branch Library (Ashville) meeting space is now reserved for any and all interested in or enthused by playing a game of chess. The second Thursday of each month, 6:00pm to 7:50pm. First gathering is Thursday, May 11th. No fees. Chess sets provided; however, you may bring your own if you wish.
