**🖥️ *It wants to be heard… so be afraid of the silence this Friday the 13th.*** **👋 What’s up guys**! Watching a horror movie on **Friday the 13th** sounds pretty perfect to me. This new film premiered at the **Fantasia Film Festival** to positive reviews from critics, though of course we’ll decide for ourselves if we agree. The movie has now been picked up by **A24** and is being released exclusively here in the U.S. This Canadian horror film is written and directed by **Ian Tuason** in his directorial debut. It centres on a paranormal podcaster who becomes haunted after receiving mysterious audio recordings from a couple plagued by a supernatural entity. From what I understand, the film is a **sound-driven, slow-burn thriller**, leaning heavily into audio-based immersive horror and a strong sense of isolation. The abandoned Pa Turnpike and its tunnels offer great photographic opportunities and even interesting audio characterteristics. **DC Service Jam is back.** This March, SD:DC is hosting the DC edition of Global Service Jam 2026 week. We are part of a worldwide movement of designers, strategists, and curious minds who come together to build real service concepts from scratch. From **Saturday March 14 to Sunday March 15**, you'll work in a small team around a secret theme revealed at kick-off. No briefs, no client. Just hands-on design, rapid prototyping, and plenty of Post-its. This year we're bringing AI into the mix. Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games! The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment.
